XR-342 (DPGDB) is a highly soluble benzoate plasticizer, the main component of which is dipropylene glycol dibenzoate. As an alternative to phthalate plasticizers recommended by the European Union, it is widely used as an environmentally friendly plasticizer in water-based adhesives (white latex, woodworking glue, plywood glue, paper packaging glue, laminating glue, cigarette glue, etc.), polysulfide sealants, polyurethane sealants, caulking agents, PVC products (toys, elastic floors, gloves, PVC dipped products, Textilene, water hoses, artificial leather, etc.), polyurethane elastomers, rubber rollers, coatings, inks, pesticides, fluorescent materials and other fields.

More than 30 years of application and research data prove that this type of product is low toxic, non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic, and easily biodegradable; it has high solubility, low solubilization temperature, and faster processing speed. It has good foaming effect when used in the PVC foaming process; it has excellent compatibility with PVC ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, etc., and has good migration resistance, extraction resistance, low-temperature softness in the finished product, light and heat stability, and low VOC.
