Located in Bataan Province, this coal-fired power plant operates 2×300MW units and relies on seawater for its circulating cooling system.
However, tropical marine conditions bring constant challenges such as:
• High salinity and severe corrosion risk
• Frequent marine biofouling (jellyfish, algae, plankton)
• Large sediment and shell debris load
• Continuous ultra-high flow operation requirements
Without effective filtration, condenser efficiency and system stability would be seriously affected.
