On June 5, 2025, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) announced the first batch of designated delivery warehouses for die-cast aluminium alloy futures. Two facilities operated by Xiamen C&D Warehouse Co., Ltd.βthe Zhenhai warehouse in Ningbo and the Haiyan warehouse in Jiaxingβwere both approved. This marks the company's first qualification as a delivery warehouse for non-ferrous metal futures.
The listed die-cast aluminium alloy grade, ADC12, is the dominant grade in China, accounting for over 70% of the domestic market. ADC12 is a lightweight and durable alloy with strong mechanical properties, high thermal conductivity, and excellent machinability. It is commonly used in the manufacturing of components for automobiles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, and power tools.
To date, C&D Logistics and its subsidiaries have obtained delivery warehouse qualifications for 11 futures product categories and operate 12 designated delivery warehouses. These cover a broad range of commodities including lithium carbonate, industrial silicon, polysilicon, ferrosilicon, silicomanganese, pulp, synthetic rubber, PTA, cotton yarn, PET chips, and aluminium alloy.
