Which size fits your operation?
If you’re looking for a self-pressurized liquid nitrogen cylinder that can actually keep up with your refilling demands, the YDZ series is worth a close look.
Here’s a quick breakdown of four commonly requested sizes:
YDZ-100
Size: 606 × 1300 mm
Daily evaporation: ≤ 1.4%
Flow rate: ≥ 6 L/min
Working pressure: < 0.1 MPa
Good fit for: mid-size labs with moderate daily LN2 consumption. Flow rate handles most standard refilling tasks without waiting.
YDZ-230
Size: 706 × 1470 mm
Daily evaporation: ≤ 1.1%
Flow rate: ≥ 10 L/min
Working pressure: < 0.1 MPa
Good fit for: facilities that refill multiple dewar containers per day. The 10 L/min flow rate keeps things moving efficiently.
YDZ-300
Size: 806 × 1500 mm
Daily evaporation: ≤ 1.1%
Flow rate: ≥ 10 L/min
Working pressure: < 0.1 MPa
Good fit for: larger labs or multi-station setups. Same low evaporation as the 230, more total capacity per fill.
YDZ-500
Size: 1008 × 1600 mm
Daily evaporation: ≤ 1.1%
Flow rate: ≥ 12 L/min
Working pressure: < 0.1 MPa
Good fit for: high-consumption sites—hospitals, industrial users, or facilities running continuous cryogenic processes. Highest flow rate in the series.
A few things worth noting across all four:
All models stay under 0.1 MPa working pressure, which keeps operation straightforward and safe for everyday use. As volume goes up from 100L to 500L, evaporation loss drops from 1.4% to 1.1% per day—so larger tanks are actually more efficient per liter stored.
