The answer is—there is no fixed lifespan; it all depends on these 4 factors:
💧 1. Is the inlet air clean?
Water, oil, and dust are the "three major killers" of molecular sieves. If pre-treatment is poor, the service life is cut in half.
⚙️ 2. Are operating conditions stable?
High temperatures, significant pressure fluctuations, and frequent start-stop cycles all accelerate aging.
🧪 3. The quality of the molecular sieve itself
High-quality 13X or lithium sieves offer superior mechanical strength and moisture resistance, naturally lasting 2–3 years longer.

Regularly replacing filter elements and performing timely regeneration is more effective than anything else.
