Introducing our smallest harmonic drive actuator — TD-30-40 — designed for humanoid robot head applications.
With its hollow-shaft design, cable routing becomes much easier and cleaner, making it ideal for compact robotic structures. The actuator features an ultra-compact 40mm outer diameter and weighs only 0.19kg, while still integrating a built-in brake system for enhanced safety and control.

Angle Control Demonstration

The actuator is controlled directly through our upper computer software.

Input target position: 90° → actuator rotates 90°
Input another 90° → total rotation reaches 180°

This humanoid robot upper body is powered by a total of 18 actuator joints, including 15 planetary actuators and 3 harmonic drive actuators.

This upper body humanoid robot is assembled using our P Series joint modules, delivering lightweight structure, smooth motion, and highly precise joint control.

For teleoperation and remote control, we integrated an SP Series planetary joint module-based teaching arm, enabling real-time synchronized motion between the operator and the humanoid robot. Every movement can be mirrored with high accuracy, making remote manipulation more intuitive and efficient.

This synchronized remote operation technology represents one of the key development directions for the future of robotics.
