Bei diesem Haus stand die Idee des "Vierkanthofs (AU) oder Vierseithofs (DE)" Pate. Eine Bauform die in Europa seit dem Mittelalter bekannt ist und auch die römische "Villa Rustica". Wir haben diese äußerst geräumigen Bauten auf ein kompaktes Wohnhaus übersetzt.

Wir setzen 4 halbe Kühlcontainer, die den Vorteil einer bereits installierten Dämmung von 7,5 cm Stärke besitzen, im quadratischen Grundriss auf und bekommen so ausreichend Räumlichkeiten für zum Beispiel eine 4-köpfige Familie. Das Haupt-Schlafzimmer ist 23 m² groß und der Innenwohnraum 26 m². Viel Platz und alles was man sonst noch benötigt.

Das Dach geht von einem Satteldach aus, wobei die Dachhälften zu Sheddächern versetzt werden um mit einem Oberlichtband den Innenwohnraum zu belichten / belüften. Die Dach-Unterseite wird im Wohnbereich verkleidet.

Die Zimmer erhalten Kühlanlagen, Wohnraum und Terrasse zusätzlich Deckenventilatoren. Die Bäder sind vollausgestattet. Die Böden erhalten einen Fliesenbelag der im Mörtelbett verlegt wird. Die Haustüre und die Innentüren sind aus sehr dauerhaftem Guanacaste-Holz. Alle weiteren Details bei Interesse.

This house was inspired by the idea of the "square courtyard (AU) or four-sided courtyard (DE)". A building style that has been known in Europe since the Middle Ages and also the Roman "Villa Rustica". We have translated these extremely spacious buildings into a compact residential house.

We set up 4 half refrigerated containers, which have the advantage of already installed insulation of 7.5 cm thickness, in a square floor plan and thus get enough space for a family of 4, for example. The main bedroom is 23 m² and the interior living space is 26 m². Lots of space and everything else you need.

The roof is a gable roof, with the roof halves being moved to form shed roofs in order to light / ventilate the interior living space with a skylight strip. The underside of the roof is clad in the living area.
The rooms have cooling systems, and the living room and terrace also have ceiling fans. The bathrooms are fully equipped. The floors are tiled and laid in a mortar bed. Bei diesem Hausentwurf wird mit drei 40 Fuß Kühlcontainern gearbeitet (siehe System Skizze). Der Eingangsbereich erfolgt - stilecht - zwischen geöffneten Containertüren im Schutz des auskragenden Obergeschoss-Containers. Weitere Containertüren werden geöffnet um den Technikraum unterzubringen sowie das untere Schlafzimmer zu vergrößern. Das funktioniert sehr gut und unterstreicht den besonderen Containerhaus-Charme. Der Wohnbereich ist zwischen 3,50m und 5,00m hoch. Der Raum ist mit 28 qm recht groß, so dass man auch den Esstisch leicht unterbringen und die Küche vergrößern könnte. Mit diesem Haus sprechen wir die Familie mit 4 bis 6 Personen an. Es findet auf nur 15 m auf 15 m Platz. Die antreibende Idee ist das "klassische" Rundhaus, das durch die Anordnung der Container näherungsweise erreicht wird. Ein rundes Zeltdach schließt das Gebäude nach oben hin ab und bringt den zusätzlich positiven Effekt eines über 40 m² großen Innenbereich mit bis zu 4 m Raumhöhe. Das halten wir für ausreichend, und man muss immer daran denken, dass man die Räume auch mal herunterkühlen muss. Das Dach wir im Zentralbereich zwar wärmegedämmt - aber dennoch muss man an die Energiekosten denken. Daher auch die wärmeabweisende Form des Daches. Das wäre nur mehr mit einem (flachen) Kuppeldach zu toppen was auch sehr schick aussehen würde! Die Anordnung der Container folgt nicht nur der Funktion sondern auch dem energetischen Optimum. With this house we are addressing families with 4 to 6 people. It has space in just 15 m by 15 m. The driving idea is the "classic" round house, which is approximately achieved by the arrangement of the containers. Aus Abstimmungen mit Kunden und an unserer Dienstleistung Interessierten haben wir dieses Haus entwickelt. Es besticht damit, dass es Alles hat was die größere Familie benötigt. An die offene Küche schließt sich der Ess-/Wohnbereich an der sich nach draußen auf der überdachten Terrasse großzügig fortsetzt. Die beiden kleineren Schlafzimmer für die Kinder setzen sich im Obergeschoss mit einem weiteren Schlafzimmer und dem 28m² großen Haupt-Schlafzimmer fort in dem man in separatem Bereich bequem arbeiten kann. We developed this house based on discussions with customers and those interested in our services. It impresses with the fact that it has everything a larger family needs. The open kitchen is followed by the dining/living area, which continues generously outside on the covered terrace. The two smaller bedrooms for the children continue on the upper floor with another bedroom and the 28m² master bedroom, where you can work comfortably in a separate area. The connecting staircase has a diameter of 2m and is easy to walk on. The 4 bedrooms are joined by 3 fully equipped bathrooms.
In detail:
The construction: reinforced concrete foundations with 4 refrigerated containers on top. The two upper containers rest on the lower containers and overhangs 7m with the help of support structures, forming a large covered terrace that is further enlarged by a large roof over the upper containers.

Fully-fledged tiny family house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
on a fantastic 7,750 m² green and ocean view land

Based on an earlier design for a customer, we have further optimized this house. We will either build it on the basis of a refrigerated container cut in half and add an upper floor in local construction. Alternatively, we can also build the ground floor in typical local concrete construction.
The result is a house for a family of 4 with 2 children's rooms and a 17 m² bedroom with a fantastic view. The washing machine can be found in the ground floor bathroom and the large bathroom on the upper floor has a shower and a bathtub from which you can enjoy the view.
The kitchen is big enough to have work surfaces. We would run the stove and hot water on gas, or electric if desired. And there is space enough for a dining table.

The house with a pretty gable roof will fit beautifully between existing trees on the main platform. The color concept ultimately plays an important role.

The second platform, which is about 20m lower, can be used to build guest houses.
