We’re Hiring | Technical Support Engineer (Pre-sales & After-sales) – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

RelyEZ Energy Storage is expanding our European team and is looking for 2 Technical Support Engineers to support our rapidly growing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business across Europe.

This is a home-based role in Cyprus, with frequent travel to customer sites throughout Europe.

What You’ll Do

🔹 Pre-sales Technical Support

* Support the sales team during customer meetings and technical discussions.
* Recommend suitable BESS solutions based on customer requirements.
* Prepare technical proposals and project documentation.
* Coordinate technical requirements with our engineering team.

🔹 After-sales Technical Support

* Provide on-site installation guidance, commissioning, testing and acceptance support.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and communication issues.
* Perform maintenance, inspections and repair services.
* Deliver technical training to customers and EPC partners.
* Prepare service reports and support technical issue resolution with headquarters.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation, Renewable Energy, Electronics, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.

✅ Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, electrical engineering or power systems.

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

* Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
* Solar PV
* PCS / Inverters
* Battery Systems
* Power Electronics
* Electrical Equipment

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

* Installation
* Commissioning
* Testing
* Troubleshooting
* Maintenance
* Repair
* Field Service
* Project Delivery

Experience with utility-scale or C&I BESS projects is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

* Battery Management System (BMS)
* Energy Management System (EMS)
* Power Conversion System (PCS)
* SCADA
* Lithium Battery Systems
* Low-, Medium- or High-Voltage electrical systems

Additional skills:

* Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
* Knowledge of Modbus, CAN and TCP/IP communication protocols.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Language Requirements

Required

* Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred

* Polish language skills are a strong advantage.
* Additional European languages are a plus.

Preferred Certifications

* Electrical installation licence or equivalent qualification.
* Experience or certification related to LV/MV/HV electrical systems.
* Knowledge of EN 50110 – Operation of Electrical Installations.
* Manufacturer training in BESS, Solar PV, PCS/Inverters or Lithium Battery Systems.
