An incredible success for RADIOBIOLOGY in competition with all scientific disciplines at the international young talent competition BYSCC in Beijing, China. Our deep thanks go to our student Ondřej Polák, and we wish him every success in his future career (details below in the original post). Another great highlight ahead of the upcoming International Congress on Radiation Research (ICRR‑2027), which we are organizing in Brno, Czech Republic, next year (20–25 June 2027). Yet another motivation for young scientists and students to take part in ICRR‑2027 ;-)

Dear friends, a new book focusing on the modelling of radiation-driven processes has just been published by World Scientific. We have contributed with our chapter "Radiation-Induced DNA Damage and Repair in a Multiscale Chromatin Landscape: Past Insights, Current Understanding, and Future Complexities" (Martin Falk, Myriam Schäfer, Jonas Weidner, Iva Falk, Jiri Toufar, Lucie Dobesova, Alena Bačíková, Olga Kopečná, Georg Hildenbrand, and Michael Hausmann).
