Tomáš Baťa was not only one of the most successful businessmen in Czech history, but also a visionary whose principles of leadership, responsibility, and innovation remain highly relevant today.

We were honoured to attend the “Baťa Forum: Paths to Responsible Leadership” conference in Prague, commemorating Baťa’s 150th anniversary. We had the opportunity to hear and share inspiring thoughts on how his values can still be applied in both personal and professional life today.

The owner and CEO of JettyRobot is a long-time follower of Baťa’s philosophy and works to implement these principles across all of his companies, including ours. As a dedicated supporter of this legacy, he was also one of the conference speakers and invited members of the JettyRobot management team to attend, gain inspiration, and share experiences with others who live by these values every day.

We left the conference feeling inspired and motivated to continue building our future on strong values, hard work, and innovation.

Not every pipe is perfect.

In the environments in which JettyRobot operates, we encounter all kinds of obstacles.
This image shows an example of a pipe deformation — that can be caused by various factors, resulting in an uneven surface and fluctuating diameter.

Thanks to its extendable arms and stable traction, however, JettyRobot can handle such irregularities and continue working safely and effectively.

Another obstacle — handled with ease.

Our series of this year’s exhibitions continues!

We enjoyed participating in the 7th professional conference Potrubí 2026 which took place 10-11 March 2026 in Jičín, Czech Republic!

We are grateful to have met other professionals in related fields, be part of the discussions, present our services and discover what is new in the pipe industry in Czechia!

Visitors were able to talk to our representatives, ask questions, watch videos of JettyRobot in action and see live how our robot can operate in (not only!) a vertical pipe.

Thank you for having us!

Dry Ice Blasting – System Overview 🔧📊

This diagram shows a simplified setup of the JettyRobot dry ice blasting system in action.

Several key components are required to make the process work: a compressed air source, a dry ice blasting machine, the JettyRobot platform itself, and the correct combination of hoses and control cables to connect everything into one efficient system.

Each element plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent pressure, controlled dry ice flow, and precise robot movement inside the duct. The result is a clean but perfectly intact surface of the duct!

A clear setup, a controlled process, and reliable results!

Water jetting in slow motion 💧

This is the JettyRobot in action — high-pressure water jetting inside a pipe, captured in slow motion.

What looks almost cinematic is actually a highly controlled cleaning process. The jet removes layers of sedimentation and residue while the robot remains firmly stabilized in the pipe, advancing at a pace that matches the level of contamination.
In many cases, we combine high water pressure with detergents to break down oily or stubborn deposits and achieve a truly clean, oil-free surface — ready for inspection, coating, or the next phase of maintenance.

Powerful, precise, and fully controlled from the outside.

Because pipes are for robots — not people.

Welcoming the Lunar New Year 🌙✨

Today, we celebrate the Lunar New Year — a time of new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and forward momentum.

Across many cultures around the world, this holiday symbolizes renewal, resilience, and progress — values we strongly relate to at JettyRobot.

As we enter this new lunar cycle, we wish our partners, customers, and colleagues prosperity, success, and steady progress in all your projects.

Here’s to another year of innovation, smart solutions, and safe operations.

AMI Pipeline Coating Conference & Exhibition — Vienna 🇦🇹

This week, we had the pleasure of attending the AMI Pipeline Coating Conference & Exhibition in Vienna — and it was a fantastic event.

It was fantastic to meet so many professionals from the pipeline coating and hydrogen sectors, exchange insights, and discuss the future of technologies for internal pipe surface preparation, inspection, and coating.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand to see JettyRobot in action and find out how robotic solutions can eliminate the need for confined space entry while improving the precision and efficiency of work inside pipelines.

Events like this confirm one thing: the industry is moving toward safer, smarter, and more automated solutions — and we’re proud to be part of that shift.

See you at the next one!

Will this still be considered acceptable in 2026?

To us, the answer is clearly no.

That’s why we aim to carry out as much work in confined spaces as possible using robotic solutions, keeping people out of hazardous environments whenever possible.

And when human entry into confined spaces is unavoidable, strict adherence to RAMS, a clearly defined Emergency Plan, and a strong focus on health, safety, security and the environment (HSSE) are absolutely essential. There are no shortcuts when it comes to safety.

Because safety isn’t optional — it’s everything.

Abrasive blasting in action

This image shows JettyRobot during the abrasive blasting process, viewed from behind as it moves backwards inside the pipe. Right in front of the robot, you can clearly see the contrast between the surface already treated and the area still waiting to be blasted.

Abrasive blasting isn’t only about removing rust or old coatings — it’s about creating a precise surface profile. The consistent roughness you see here is carefully engineered to ensure optimal adhesion for the next layer.

And what happens to the steel grit afterwards?

Once the blasting is complete, the abrasive material is collected, cleaned, and recycled, ready to be used again on the next project. Efficient, controlled, and sustainable.

Look at this steel grit!

This is the material we use for abrasive blasting — a method typically used for removing rust, stripping old paint, and preparing surfaces for a new coating.

We propel the steel grit at high velocity directly onto the surface using a specially designed blasting head attached to JettyRobot. The grain size, distribution and shape of the grain determine the final surface profile — and since every project has different requirements, choosing the right grit is a crucial part of the process.

Surface preparation isn’t just about cleaning; it’s about creating the perfect foundation for what comes next.

In our next post, we’ll reveal what the blasted surface looks like — stay tuned!

And here’s the answer 👇

In this case, what you saw was not a working tool, but a technical experiment.
The goal of this test was to confirm that our inspection arm we normally use for DFT and UT inspections is capable of carrying and operating any sensor weighing up to 3 kg in a vertical pipe.

Stability is absolutely critical during inspections. For testing purposes, the sensor was replaced with a metal weight weighing 3.1 kg, visible in the photo.

The test successfully confirmed that this load presents no limitation for our inspection arm — and, just as importantly, that JettyRobot remains fully stable while operating in vertical piping.

This is another step forward in expanding the capabilities of our robotic inspection platform.
