Last call: interpack 2026 starts tomorrow.

As packaging machines grow in modularity — more axes, more performance classes, tighter cycle rates — the control architecture becomes the decision that either saves or costs engineering time at every stage.

A unified control platform with consistent functions and interfaces across controllers, HMI and I/O systems enables seamless integration across different performance requirements.

Stable multicore performance ensures reliable ex*****on of motion, logic and HMI functions, even at high cycle rates and with increasing machine complexity.
🔹 One platform across all performance classes
🔹 Reduced engineering effort from design through commissioning
🔹 Compact, high-performance machines with a high level of future readiness
🔹 Built for the demands of modern modular packaging lines

We look forward to talking with you — Hall 6, booth D50.

Cycle interruption in pick-and-place isn't given. It's a design choice. See it live at interpack 2026.

In packaging, every stop costs throughput. The question isn't whether your robot can move fast enough, it's whether it stays synchronized with the running machine.

The delta robot operates synchronously with the running mechanics and performs handling during continuous motion, enabled by precise rotary tracking. No cycle interruption.
What makes it practical for machine builders:

🔹 Robotics implemented through parameterization, not programming. Commissioning starts immediately
🔹 No additional controller, programming environment or control cabinet needed
🔹 Open standards — geometry changes and variants with one software
🔹 Scalable for high cycle rates and short line throughput requirements

See it live at Interpack 📍 Hall 6, booth D50 📆 May 7-13, 2026

Most sizing delays don't start with the wrong components. They start with unclear inputs.

The EASY System Designer's guided Assistant Mode turns vague starting points into validated drive proposals — automatically, without requiring deep application knowledge upfront.

🔹 Guided sizing: validated proposals from minimal inputs
🔹 Machine Design: modular, scalable planning for full machine architecture
🔹 Fewer iterations in the early project phase — faster decisions where it counts

From uncertainty to a validated solution. Without the usual back-and-forth.

Control cabinet design in HVAC-R starts with space. Once the layout is fixed, the drive has to fit, not the other way around. Late changes at that point don't affect drawings. They affect physical space and manual effort.

That makes drive selection a structural decision, not a late-stage detail.

A VFD that is up to 40 % smaller directly reduces the footprint allocated to the drive itself. Integrated PLC and IO-Link Master functionality eliminates the need for additional external components — fewer devices, less wiring, cleaner layout.
The design frame is defined:

🔹 Operating range: -30 °C to +60 °C (-22 °F to +140 °F)
🔹 Power range: 0.37 to 110 kW (0.5 to 180 hp)
🔹 Installation effort: reducible by around 30 minutes per VFD

In most HVAC-R projects, functionality is not the limiting factor. Physical space, robustness, and installation effort are.

– Keeping food moving 🍽️

How do you keep operations running smoothly in a 248,000 m² food center? At in Guissona, Spain, industrial and logistics activities come together on a massive scale. And when you’re handling over 12 km of conveyors, efficiency isn’t just a goal — it’s a necessity.

Lenze supported the design and sizing of all the drives, focusing on shorter ex*****on and commissioning times, better energy efficiency, and longer-lasting mechanical components. With innovations like automatic multi-shuttles, box stackers, and cartesian gantries, productivity is up, and workplace ergonomics have improved.

Key to this success: i550 and i950 inverters for precise drive control and 1,000 Smart Motors, streamlined to just 15 different references—a game-changer for standardization and stock reduction.

A strong setup for smooth operations. More efficiency, less complexity, better performance. 🚀

Lenze enables high-performance packaging machines through motion, integration, and simplified engineering.

2026 addresses an industry where uptime, changeover speed, and process consistency define competitive advantage. When filling, sealing, labeling, and handling systems need to work in sync, motion control becomes a systems question and not a components choice.

That's where engineering effort concentrates: reducing wiring complexity, enabling seamless integration into existing automation environments, and building architectures that support fast commissioning and reliable operation.

🔹 Reduced engineering time through open interfaces
🔹 Faster implementation across central and decentral topologies
🔹 Integration of safety, diagnostics, and process data

Visit us at interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, May 7–13, Hall 6 / Booth D50. Bring your use case, we'll look at motion and integration options for packaging machinery.
