Hey SynthFeed Family, we’ve got some great news about the platform. From now on if you want to test the service but are unsure if you should get 30 credits for a feedback report from our experienced artists, you have the option to get targeted feedback on your songs from one of our SynthFeed A&Rs for only 5 credits.
This will help you experience the platform & get detailed feedback before using our main service which is feedback from one of the main artists.

How much effort do you usually put into Spotify pre-saves?
If Spotify sees a song is getting a lot of authentic traction early on after its release, it is much more likely for it to be playlisted by its editorial team. This is because it signals that more people might like it, making it worthy to be added to a playlist that even more people would enjoy. Furthermore, it is a great indicator for algorithmic playlists as well.

Do you struggle with making your drops hit right? Enhance them by applying some of these effects. Remember, be careful not to overdo it because if you do not build enough tension with your build-up then it can have a counter effect. These tips can be applied to any type of song but we've found that it works best in the electronic realm.

Phase issues and cancellation are common when you record an instrument / sound with multiple mics but it can also happen with the soundwaves of different elements in your project. It's important to make sure you avoid these kind of problems. We listed a few ways to identify phase problems in your mix which you might find useful.

Parallel processing will not only let you add depth to your sounds without losing the transients and presence but it will also help you save CPU usage. Instead of adding a huge chain effect to each of the sounds of your project, you can create several parallel processing return tracks with different effects for the different types of elements in your project.

SynthFeed is Live: We believe that in order to grow and differentiate ourselves in one of the most competitive industries ever, we need to master a lot of things. One of the most directly helpful and important tools to improve our craft is by getting detailed and critical feedback on our music. From real professionals.
⠀
Except, "detailed feedback from industry professionals" doesn’t actually exist, unless you are already quite deep into the profession. So there is a paradox here. We want professional help to get better at our craft, but it seems like the ones who need this feedback the most are not the ones with access to get them.
⠀
We decided to take this matter into our own hands. Initially to use it ourselves, but we decided to design it in a way that anyone can use. A platform that lets producers track their growth and receive detailed and structured feedback from verified, leading professionals who speak from their real experience in the game.
⠀
All we care about is quality and simplicity, which is why we carefully selected the profile of the professionals that could take our music to the next level. Nothing more. Just practical, helpful, feedback to assist your growth as a music producer. We reached out to real professionals that have accomplished big things in the industry and have a lot of experience, on stage and in the studio.
⠀
SynthFeed aims to address the growth gap in the music industry. Through the platform, upcoming producers like us can get in-depth evaluations of their songs on multiple creative and technical aspects from real industry professionals. This includes a numeric rating on 6 different creative and technical categories, as well as qualitative, actionable feedback comments to guide our next steps.
⠀
On SynthFeed, we will be able to track our own progress over time which will let us identify our strengths and weaknesses in order to significantly grow faster and better as musicians.
We are so aligned with the purpose of SynthFeed that we will constantly be using our own service to improve our craft as music producers, just like you. We truly cannot wait for you to have the SynthFeed experience.

The digital music industry is growing faster than ever before. However, it also seems fair to say that the industry lacks the ideal community to better onboard newcomers into the producing scene. As (aspiring) music producers ourselves, we know how important it is to receive professional feedback on our pieces to become better. Unfortunately, in reality, there is a serious lack of access to such professional feedback from industry leaders.
Ourselves and the few producers who did manage to receive a few comments of feedback from different artists can confirm that it is an absolute game-changer to the development of a song and identifying further errors that otherwise would have been left unnoticed.
Established producers know what worked for them and can thus provide very detailed and pinpointed, actionable advice to accelerate an aspiring producers’ progress exponentially. By identifying their errors, highlighting their strengths, and providing in-detail actionable feedback reports, as well as tracking their growth over time, we aim to support steady growth for the producers. Because that is what we want as producers ourselves.
We are not only focusing on providing value to aspiring music producers, but we also know that artists are paid way less than they are worth for their music. Furthermore, COVID-19 has heavily affected many industry established producers due to the lack of live shows (which usually represents a very high percentage of an artist’s earnings). Massive gatherings still seem unlikely for a long time in many parts of the world until at least next year. We wish to present an alternative revenue system for established artists who are facing this difficult lifestyle shift.
We strongly believe that SynthFeed can become the central ecosystem that supports and grows alongside artists of the ever-changing music industry. The value our platform can provide with the personally curated feedback reports is only the beginning of an overarching platform which will become a commonplace tool for ambitious artists.
