At the end of the Year of the Snake, our Michelle, as the representative, returned to China to attend our China team’s annual celebration. 😊
The celebration opened with a short-video style dance performance; a playful “working-people” lion dance brought unexpected energy; and even the perfect attendance award came with a bunch of celery — a clever pun fully appreciated(Chinese Pinyin). Games like picking up cash with pliers, and “shoveling” money with kitchen spatulas created an atmosphere even more vibrant than the bonuses themselves. 😜
The biggest surprise was the lucky-draw gifts. Beyond high-quality kitchenware such as WMF cookware, Zwilling knives, and Brita filter cartridges, there were also practical and unmistakably local surprises: pork belly, cured pork knuckle, hairy crabs, and premium Wuchang rice — ensuring that everyone went home not only with a gift, but with something ready for the table. 😋
There was no standardized agenda. Instead, every part of the celebration reflected the creativity and vitality of a young team — combined with the grounded pragmatism and authenticity that characterize this market. 🫰
After many years working in Germany, we are often asked by clients what “Made in China” or “a Chinese factory” really means. The answer is simple: reliability in delivery — and a remarkable level of energy and attention to detail behind the scenes. 👏
Our sincere thanks to our China team for their dedication and for being the strongest backbone of our German operations. 👍
In the New Year, we continue side by side — moving forward with momentum and confidence. 💪
