We’re happy to share another new AZoNetwork/News Medical publication on Bambanker™. This time focused on cryopreservation in cancer research:
https://www.news-medical.net/whitepaper/20260422/Bambankere284a2-cryopreservation-in-cancer-research-review.aspx

The article reviews how cryopreservation supports reproducibility and continuity across cancer workflows, and compiles peer-reviewed examples where Bambanker™ is used for cryopreserving tumor fragments, organoids, stromal components, and cell suspensions, with an emphasis on preserving viability and function post-thaw.

If you’re working with patient-derived models, functional assays, or biobanking, this is a practical read (and a useful reference to share within the team). You can download the PDF directly from the page.

A big thank you to AZoNetwork/News Medical for another fantastic piece and a great collaboration.

See how Bambanker™ supports high post-thaw recovery and reliable downstream performance across tissues, organoids, tumor digests, and more.

April 1st announcement: introducing FastGene qFRY, the only “q” system that promises perfectly crisp results and “heated” workflows. 😄

Don’t worry, our actual qPCR systems (FastGene qFYR) are very real.

All jokes aside, we love keeping science fun, and we’re grateful for everyone who supports our products and our community.

Happy April Fools’ Day! 🙌

Behind the scenes before analytica 2026: pallets are getting packed and ready to ship. 📦
We even have quality control on-site — our packing supervisor is four-legged and takes the role very seriously. 🐾
Instruments, accessories, and all the “must-have” booth essentials. Flyers, brochures, and goodies are on their way to Munich too.
There’s something oddly satisfying about this stage: once the pallets leave, the show feels real.
If you’re attending, come by and say hi 👋

Organoid cryopreservation isn’t ‘standard’ yet, but a few labs are already trying to make it work.

If you’re working with organoids, spheroids, or other 3D models, you’ve probably felt the challenge: protocols are still emerging, outcomes can vary, and “what works” often depends on the model.
To help move things from trial-and-error toward repeatable workflows, we pulled together this new guide: https://www.news-medical.net/industry-focus/Optimizing-3D-cryopreservation-using-Bambanker%E2%84%A2

Inside, we focus on bench-ready guidance to help reduce trial-and-error:
✅ key principles that matter for 3D structures
✅ workflow suggestions you can apply and adapt
✅ troubleshooting for common failure points
✅ literature-based examples to support decisions

If you’re exploring 3D cryopreservation (even at the “testing and learning” stage), this is a useful read to bookmark and share with your team.

Big thanks to AZoNetwork/News Medical for another fantastic article 🙌

While some people are celebrating the Lunar New Year… in Cologne, we celebrate Carnival. 🎉🎭
And this year, a few of us decided to take it very literally by disguising ourselves as our own products 😃
Behind every instrument, every reagent, and every solution, there are real people who enjoy what they do.

Wishing everyone celebrating today a joyful last day of Carnival!

❄️ Cryopreservation is rarely the headline of a project.
But it can quietly determine its success.
When post-thaw recovery is inconsistent, variability increases. When viability drops, months of work can be compromised.
We’ve compiled a comprehensive overview of 120+ peer-reviewed examples where Bambanker was successfully used across a wide range of cell types, including stem cells, immune cells, cancer models, organoids, and patient-derived samples.
Structured. Referenced. Evidence-based.

💘 The best relationships survive freezing and thawing.
In science — just like in life — stability matters.
Whether it’s stem cells, precious samples, or long-term collaborations.
This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating partnerships that last, in the lab and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who trusts us to be part of your scientific journey.

Done right, it can preserve viability, function, and long-term experimental reliability. Done poorly, it can quietly compromise months or years of work.

A new Biocompare article published today highlights practical strategies for cryopreserving iPSCs, ESCs, MSCs, and other sensitive cell types, with a focus on media selection, protocol design, and minimizing freeze–thaw stress.
We’re proud that NIPPON Genetics EUROPE contributed to this discussion.

If you work with sensitive stem cell models, this article offers valuable guidance to help you:
• improve post-thaw recovery
• reduce variability
• protect precious cell lines
• make more informed cryopreservation choices

In the weeks before the holidays, our sales team had the pleasure of visiting many of our customers. This time with a small chocolate gift and a simple message: 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪.
It was about taking a moment to connect, talk, and appreciate the collaboration we share.
Your trust in us, in our team, and in our solutions means a great deal. These visits reminded us that our work is built on relationships, openness, and long-term partnerships, and we’re truly grateful for that.
As we’ve now stepped into the new year, we want to say once again: 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

From ideas to medals!
We’re incredibly proud to share that the two iGEM teams we supported this year achieved exceptional success — one earned a Gold Medal, the other a Silver Medal at the iGEM Grand Jamboree 2025.

Their projects tackled major challenges:
🔬 Team Münster worked on innovative antimicrobial strategies to disrupt pathogenic E. coli biofilms.
🌱 Team Kaiserslautern developed a sustainable approach to produce therapeutic scFv antibodies using Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.

These achievements highlight the creativity, passion, and scientific excellence of the next generation of researchers.
We’re honored to have supported their journey.

For many researchers still using UV transilluminators, that risk is part of the daily routine. But it doesn’t have to be...

That’s why Blue/Green LED technology is becoming the new standard in molecular biology labs. It uses visible light instead of UV, protecting your samples from DNA damage and keeping your hands and eyes safe during imaging.

And the best part? You still get bright, sharp bands with the dyes you already use.
