Solar power without solar panels?

CSP - Concentrated Solar Power, uses mirrors to concentrate sunlight into heat, which is then used to generate electricity. Some systems can even store that heat and produce power after sunset.

But there’s a catch: CSP loves strong, direct sunlight.

That makes desert regions a natural fit while countries like Germany are generally better suited to photovoltaic solar.

Starting January 1, 2027, solar support in Germany changes. The familiar feed in tariff with guaranteed upside becomes a two-sidea contract-for-difference model. If electricity prices climb too high, you pay part of it back.
The good news: if your system goes live by December 31, 2026, you stay on the old, predictable scheme for its entire support period.

Manche Deutsche fragen sich, ob Helios Solar eine Bedrohung für den heimischen Markt ist. Ich verstehe
die Frage. Aber Deutschland braucht bis 2030 noch fast 100 Gigawatt Solarleistung. Helios Solar kommt
nicht, um etwas wegzunehmen. Es kommt, um etwas zu bauen. Wie denken Sie darüber? Bedrohung

Some Germans are asking whether Helios Solar is a threat to the domestic market. I understand the question. But
Germany still needs almost 100 gigawatts of solar capacity by 2030. Helios Solar is not coming to take something
