New Grundfos museum displays 75 years of industrial history

A pioneering spirit and technological landmarks dominate "Grundfos Museum – The Factory", which will open to the public and via a trove of original machinery show how Grundfos has contributed to shaping the modern industrial society.

​On Friday 4 September, 'The Factory' opens in rebuilt factory premises at S1 in Bjerringbro. The brand new museum contains more than 150 historical artefacts presented through 14 themes spread over 1600 square meters and two floors.

The museum boasts a wealth of machines and tools from our 75-year history – objects that not only illustrate the development of the company but the overall evolution of industry, technology and society.

"Grundfos' successful history is heavily connected to the company not only developing good pumps but also deciding to self-produce almost all pump parts, and do it on its own terms," explains Flemming Pedersen, manager of Grundfos' History Department.

On Tuesday we had sales people from NALCO to a one-day seminar at Grundfos Erkrath as guests
On the agenda was digital dosing technology with BUS integration.
This was my first event in this fantastic location with a top equipped workshop and a nice seminar room.
At this point I would like to thank my colleague Bernt Eggert for his professional support during the training.
Due to the high professional competence of the participants the training made a lot of fun for us trainers as well for the participants too.

Since yesterday the first training of the new year has been running at the Industry Training Center in Pfinztal.

This is a technical training for service technicians from Grundfos service partners in the DACH region regarding Oxiperm installations.

Many thanks to the two experienced GWS Service engineers Klaus Fritz and Ingo Schultz who are acting as trainers.

Furthermore it is very pleasing, that we are seeing a very strong demand for training from customers and we are almost fully booked for the first half of the year.

Traditionally at Christmas the publication of the Industry Seminar program for the coming year.

As beginner training instead of the previous TPA training, we now offer the Industrial Solution Training in a modified form.

Furthermore we have added a number of recorded webinars to the program which can be accessed at any time.

The registration for Industry Trainings can still be done in the Training Warehouse on the G-Learn platform.

For an easy access to the platform use the “Assign to me” button in the seminar program catalog.

For our Industrial Solution Training we still have places available.
The training will take place from Monday 21st October to Thursday 24th October at the PDJA in Bjerringbro.
The contents of the training were revised by our application managers and even more adapted to the central topic iSOLUTIONS.
To register for the training please use the new Grundfos G-Learn Platform.
The Industrial Solution Training can be found in the Global Training Warehouse under the rubric Sales and Level 200.

For the past three days we have had guests from Lithuania, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Poland at the Industry Training Center.
The aim of the training was to lift the people, who are mostly working as sales engineers, from level 100 to the next level.
The focus contents were dosing pumps, measuring and control technology, disinfection with chlorine and chlorine dioxide.
I would like to thank my colleagues Mathias Schlupf, Christian Rehfeld and Matthias Woll for their commitment as trainers and experts.
