Chris Rea's Auberge LP was out sharply 35 years ago.

A production peak for him, as well as the musical excellence to the extent of yielding 6 non-album tracks within its singles, all strong enough to make for another album. Sadly, even the Japanese version, the first of its kind, with extra tracks added beyond the main album (which previously was done with CDs in 1986-87 in addition to LP tracks) only featured half of them.

Still no sign of a possible new reissue done right, but we have 10 months till the end if the year to get an anniversary release.

The title track's mixed with RSS (Roland Sound Space) making it an option for a spacial audio remixing and a single reissue.
