☀️😎 WHEN ICEMAN CALLS FOR A SUMMER BREAK… 👀🥵
With temperatures hitting 36°C, our A/C was doing its job, 💪❄️but the summer weather outside was simply too good to ignore. 😉 So this afternoon, gave everyone of who was in our Frankfurt office a well-deserved summer break, and the team headed over to our longtime friends and partners at FRANKFURTER HAUS. 🙌 Every winter, we’re proud to install their mobile there. 🧊 Looking at today’s temperatures, we all agreed we could have used some fun time on the ice ⛸️ already! 😂
Instead, we enjoyed fantastic food 🍽️, ice-cold drinks 🍾, and the outstanding hospitality we’ve come to know and appreciate from Constantin and his amazing team. 👏❤️ It wasn’t a typical office afternoon, but that’s exactly what being a great team is all about. Working hard, enjoying the journey together, and taking time to create memories beyond the office. 💙👊 Quality time with great colleagues, great partners, and great friends. ☀️

Today, our custom-built propane arrived on site, featuring natural propane refrigerant with a GWP close to zero, outstanding , and integrated —another key milestone on the arena’s journey toward becoming an energy-self-sufficient venue. 🌍♻️ While the crane carefully positions this vital component outside, is already hard at work inside, installing our stainless steel finned tubes into the patented tiles. 💪🔩 Every delivery, every pipe, and every connection brings this project one step closer to completion. Day by day, the progress becomes more visible. Soon, the Probonio Arena will take shape with its new flex boards, ICEGRID® Plus+ stainless steel piping system, and our high-efficiency propane refrigeration technology—setting new standards for sustainability, performance, and world-class ice quality. 🚀🏒 Because at ISS, we don’t just build ice rinks… we build the future of ice. ❄️🔥

Last month, and Luis had the pleasure of visiting one of Germany’s Top 3 family resorts – the KinderhotelSimmerl in the beautiful Bavarian Forest. 🇩🇪🌲 Family-owned and operated, the Pielmeier family has created an extraordinary place where unforgettable memories are made every single day. From exciting slides and outstanding childcare to horses, animals and countless adventures, everything is designed with one goal in mind: putting families and children first. 💙🐴✨ Inspired by ISS projects that transformed riding arenas into spectacular winter ice rinks, the Pielmeier family decided to take the next step. An existing farm building will soon become an indoor riding hall in summer – and a magical in winter. 🏇➡️⛸️❄️ To bring this vision to life, they chose and invested in our TÜV-certified mobile ice rink system, premium dasher boards, an energy-efficient chiller and complete skate rental equipment. 💪🇩🇪 We are proud to share that the project has now officially been awarded to ISS, and our team is already working behind the scenes to ensure everything is delivered and installed on schedule before the Christmas holidays begin. 🎄🚛🔧 Soon, families from all over Germany will be creating unforgettable memories on the newest ISS ice rink. Summer… the quiet season for ice rink companies? ☀️🤔 Not at . 💪❄️ While many think everything slows down after winter, our summer schedule is just as packed. Alongside new arena installations, service visits and maintenance projects all around the world, our rental systems are continuously being cleaned, inspected and serviced throughout the entire off-season. From the moment the last rinks are dismantled until the first installations of the next winter begin, our workshop teams are already preparing every system for another successful season. 🌍🚛❄️ Over the next several weeks, thousands of meters of our rental dasher boards will be professionally cleaned, inspected and serviced by our team. 💦✨ This week, the work is underway in Borna near Leipzig, where our TÜV-certified ICERACK® system is receiving its professional summer maintenance. Built with a robust aluminum frame and durable HDPE panels, ICERACK® is the dasher board system for the highest quality standards and the premium choice for customers who refuse to compromise. 🏒🏗️
And that’s exactly what they can expect from Team ISS. Every rental system is professionally cleaned, carefully inspected and fully serviced before it leaves our warehouse, so it arrives ready to deliver another perfect winter season. ✅❄️

🤝 VISITING FRIENDS. THAT’S WHAT IS ALL ABOUT. 💙🥌
Over the years, Team ISS has installed ICEGRID® rinks across the US 🇺🇸 , building far more than world-class ice, we’ve built lasting friendships along the way. 🤩 Whenever we’re working nearby, it’s always a special moment to stop by, reconnect with our customers and see how their ICEGRID® is performing years later. 🤝🇺🇸 Back in 2019, we installed the complete ICEGRID® system for Lake.Tahoe.Epic.Curling at beautiful Lake Tahoe – including the refrigeration plant. ❄️🇩🇪 Since then, the connection has never faded. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with friends like Edith Hazard, Eric Hazard and the entire Epic Curling team whenever we’re in the area.
The best compliment? Even going into their eights season, they’re still convinced they made the right choice with ICEGRID® Made in Germany. Reliable performance, outstanding and an system built to last. 💪🥌
And our journey is far from over. This summer, Team ISS is adding three more dedicated ICEGRID® curling rinks for USA Curling in Texas, Maryland and Florida. 🇺🇸🥌📍 With every new installation, another pin is added to the growing map of ICEGRID® dedicated curling facilities across the United States and another long-term partnership begins.
