Thanks to their modular design, up to 24 valve positions can be configured, available in either 10 mm or 14 mm technology. Multibus nodes with Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, or IO-Link ensure seamless integration into any control architecture.

Low power consumption, LED status indicators, and a manual override function simplify diagnostics, improve energy efficiency, and speed up commissioning.

For demanding applications, corrosion-resistant connection variants and a wide range of connection sizes are available.

It also includes TOF variants for long distances and highly material- and color-independent detection, plus dedicated versions for transparent object sensing. For flexible commissioning, Light-on/Dark-on can be switched directly on the device, and you can choose red-light or laser optics depending on your performance and spot-size requirements. Commercially, 𝗢𝗦𝟭𝟬𝗦 is a price killer versus competing brands, enabling attractive machine BOM costs without sacrificing application coverage. In 2025, ELCO manufactured over 𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀, underlining industrial-scale quality and supply reliability.

The series combines high-precision 3D laser profile measurement with an integrated CPU, eliminating the need for an external controller. With up to 1456 data points, scan rates up to 5000 Hz and measuring ranges from 52 mm to 1192 mm, the sensors ensure fast and reliable inspection in demanding automation applications. Rugged IP67 housings, Profinet and Modbus TCP communication, as well as SSI, RS485 and analog interfaces enable seamless integration into modern production systems. ELCO’s 𝗧𝟭𝟮𝟬 series inductive sensors are engineered for reliable metal detection under extreme conditions, with a temperature rating of up to +120 °C and protection class 𝗜𝗣𝟲𝟳. These sensors come in threaded cylindrical housings (e.g. 𝗠𝟭𝟮, 𝗠𝟭𝟴, 𝗠𝟯𝟬), offer both flush and non-flush mounting types, and feature switching distances from about 2 mm up to 15 mm depending on design. Outputs include 𝗣𝗡𝗣 or 𝗡𝗣𝗡, with 𝗡𝗢 𝗡𝗖 or 𝗡𝗖+𝗡𝗢; connection options vary between 2m silicon cable and connector designs. With operating voltage in the typical industrial DC range, they maintain stable performance even in high temperature and harsh environments.
