H’, External UAS Operator, Hermes 450 (“Zik”) UAV and the “Kochav” (Hermes 900):

"When I operate a UAS carrying heavy munitions on a long-range mission and land it safely back home, empty and intact, I’m filled with a tremendous sense of satisfaction. It’s in these moments that I fully understand the power and impact of the remotely piloted aircraft array.
We, the personnel of the 166th Squadron (“Fire Birds”), are everywhere, at all times, day and night, and we take great pride in seeing the results and influence of our work on the operational effort."

Throughout the operational activity of “Roaring Lion,” external operators ensured the safe operation and return of remotely piloted aircraft, playing a significant role in supporting mission success.

For Elbit Systems, it is a privilege to see how our UAS technologies are used by skilled professionals who rely on their performance every day. We remain committed to delivering advanced, dependable solutions that support air forces in their most complex operational challenges.

At the C‑UAS Technology Show, Elbit Systems presented a cohesive approach built around that need. The Protection 360° concept applies one operational logic across all levels - from soldiers on foot to armored vehicles and temporary positions, using modular building blocks that combine SIGINT, radar, EO, acoustic sensing, soft‑kill measures, and hard‑kill options when required.

Instead of multiple standalone systems, forces can rely on one scalable framework that provides continuous, mobile protection.
As recent conflicts have shown, mobility and rapid deployment aren’t “nice to have” anymore; they’re essential for dealing with fast‑moving, low‑altitude threats.

Few people ever see the inside of Israel’s high‑power laser programs. Even fewer lead them.
K. is one of the minds behind the systems now entering operational service - technologies capable of intercepting rockets, UAVs and missiles using concentrated light measured in hundreds of kilowatts.

Her unit at Elbit has spent years turning fiber‑laser research into real interception capabilities, from the ground‑based system already being integrated into Israel’s air‑defense array to the next major step: airborne lasers designed to engage threats outside the country’s borders and above or below cloud layers.

Her path, from early work in aeronautics and autonomous systems to overseeing multidisciplinary teams across physics, mechanics, electronics and software, offers a rare glimpse into the scale and ambition of this effort.

K. reveals the challenges, breakthroughs and quiet milestones that shaped one of the most significant technological shifts in Israel’s defensive capabilities.

Innovation is measured by impact - not by titles, backgrounds, or gender.
When the mission is to help create a safer and more secure world, what matters is the ability to think differently, solve complex challenges, and deliver when it counts.
Across Elbit Systems, the people behind the technology prove every day that excellence speaks for itself.

Behind every decisive moment on the modern battlefield, there is a silent architectural triumph.

We often talk about innovation as an abstract concept, but for those in the defense sector, engineering is the literal difference between mission success and strategic failure. It is the invisible shield that protects a convoy in a GPS-denied environment and the split-second intelligence that turns data into a tactical advantage.

At Elbit Systems, our engineering philosophy isn't just about building more sophisticated hardware. It’s about solving the impossible physics of the front line - transforming a visionary idea into a rugged, operational reality that commanders can trust when it matters most.

We don't just engineer systems; we engineer the edge that allows modern forces to stay ahead of an ever-evolving threat landscape. To the men and women who translate complex algorithms into battlefield dominance - thank you for building the future of global security.

Elbit Systems is advancing the next generation of precision artillery with its family of guided rockets – Accular, EXTRA and Predator Hawk. Designed for accuracy, speed, and operational flexibility, these systems give commanders new ways to engage high‑value targets while minimizing collateral damage.

At the core is the PULS™ launcher, enabling forces to rapidly switch between different rocket types and mission ranges, from 35 km to 300 km. With a CEP of just 10 meters and a choice of fragmentation or pe*******on warheads, the munitions provide exceptional performance across diverse operational scenarios.

By delivering precise, long‑range effects from the ground, these capabilities reduce the burden on air forces and accelerate response times – a strategic advantage increasingly vital on today’s battlefields.

Elbit Systems will equip the Israeli Air Force’s UH‑60 Black Hawk fleet with the Helmet Display and Tracking System (HDTS).

The HDTS provides aircrews with real‑time 3D synthetic vision of terrain, obstacles and flight paths, improving situational awareness and decision‑making in challenging visual conditions including dust, fog, smoke and night operations. The system supports safer approaches and landings, particularly in brownout environments.

Its Line‑of‑Sight head‑tracking technology ensures accurate alignment of symbology with the pilot’s view, enabling effective crew coordination during dynamic missions. With an open, modular architecture, HDTS integrates with ISR sensors, navigation and positioning systems, obstacle detection and thermal imaging, supporting safe and continuous operation in all weather conditions.
