H’, External UAS Operator, Hermes 450 (“Zik”) UAV and the “Kochav” (Hermes 900):
"When I operate a UAS carrying heavy munitions on a long-range mission and land it safely back home, empty and intact, I’m filled with a tremendous sense of satisfaction. It’s in these moments that I fully understand the power and impact of the remotely piloted aircraft array.
We, the personnel of the 166th Squadron (“Fire Birds”), are everywhere, at all times, day and night, and we take great pride in seeing the results and influence of our work on the operational effort."
Throughout the operational activity of “Roaring Lion,” external operators ensured the safe operation and return of remotely piloted aircraft, playing a significant role in supporting mission success.
For Elbit Systems, it is a privilege to see how our UAS technologies are used by skilled professionals who rely on their performance every day. We remain committed to delivering advanced, dependable solutions that support air forces in their most complex operational challenges.
