Team Schenck at the Darmstadt Company Run 2026 🏃‍♂️ What a great evening of sport, teamwork and exchange!

This year, 32 Schenck colleagues crossed the finish line, covering a combined distance of 216 kilometers in an impressive total time of 20 hours, 7 minutes and 12 seconds.

As always, the event was about much more than running. Before and after the race, we came together to catch up, share experiences and enjoy the team spirit that makes Schenck special. While the cooler temperatures meant the evening wrapped up a little earlier than usual, the atmosphere was no less enjoyable.

A big thank you to everyone who participated, supported and cheered along the way. Events like these show that strong teams are built both inside and outside the workplace.

Triff Schenck auf dem Ausbildungsinfotag Darmstadt 2026

Zwei unserer Auszubildenden werden am Stand sein, um dir einen authentischen Einblick in den Arbeitsalltag, die Ausbildungsinhalte und die Karrieremöglichkeiten bei Schenck zu geben.

Wir blicken bereits in die Zukunft: Die Bewerbungsphase für die Ausbildung zum Mechatroniker/zur Mechatronikerin mit Beginn im August 2027 startet in Kürze. Denn die Investition in junge Talente bleibt ein wichtiger Teil unserer Zukunft.

Knete und Berufswahl: unser Kid’s Day 2026!

Nicht ohne Grund ist der Kid’s Day bei uns seit vielen Jahren sehr erfolgreich. Beim Berufsorientierungstag für Schenck-Mitarbeiterkinder und deren Freunde gibt es ganz praktische Einblicke in technische Ausbildungsberufe. 🛠️🪛

Nach der Führung in der Ausbildungswerkstatt und dem Bau eines motorbetriebenen Fahrstuhls hatten die Kids viel Spaß beim Bau eines individuellen (und sehr bunten) Rotors aus Fimo. Beim Wettbewerb konnten sie selbst messen und sehen, wie wichtig ein präzises Auswuchten ist!

Ein weiteres schönes Ergebnis des Kid’s Days? Wenn wir Teilnehmende als Praktikanten, Auszubildende oder Studierende später wiedersehen: Das motiviert uns! 🤗

This project pushes boundaries: the world’s largest high-speed balancing facility, designed for rotor weights up to 380 tons. Just to give you an idea: that’s equivalent to 5 fully fueled Airbus A320s or around 250 cars! ✈️🚗

Behind this milestone stands a strong team – from sales and project management to engineering, assembly, and test field. A complex challenge mastered through collaboration, expertise and commitment.

A great example of what teamwork at Schenck can achieve. ✨

Achieving a common goal: let's get ready for the Darmstadt Company Run 2026 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Preparations are in full swing for May 12, 2026. The running shirts and bib numbers are ready, and Team Schenck is set for the start. 👕

This year, 42 runners and 22 supporters from our Darmstadt site will participate, covering distances from 2.5 km to 10 km. While last year featured strong international participation, this time it’s an all-Darmstadt team. Just as motivated and ready to go. 💪

The slogan on this year’s shirts says it best: “Balanced runs better!”.
A fitting message, combining sport, team spirit and our daily mindset at Schenck.

Now it’s time for the final training sessions before race day. We’re looking forward to a great event together. 🥳🏆️

Health Campus – supporting our employees beyond the workplace

As part of our Health Campus and our holistic approach, we regularly offer expert talks directly on site, conveniently after work and focused on topics that matter in everyday life.
This time, the focus was on care coaching. Because care responsibilities often arise unexpectedly in the middle of professional life, bringing many important questions with them: What needs to be done first? What support is available? How do you apply for a care level? And what rights do working relatives have?

In this practical session, participants received clear guidance, concrete next steps and valuable orientation to better navigate these situations.
Topics like these are an important part of our commitment to the well-being of our employees—just like previous events on living wills and power of attorney.

What does balancing precision have to do with modeling clay? 👀

Preparations are in full swing for our Kid’s Day on April 23, 2026: Schenck’s extended version of the nationwide Girls’Day and Boys´Day.

On this day, we open our doors to the next generation: children of our employees (grades 5–10), giving them hands-on insights into technical professions, training opportunities, and of course our core business: balancing.

And yes … modeling clay will play a role.
Why? We’ll reveal that after the event. 😉
