Sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn't finding the answer. It's asking a different question.

That was exactly what happened when DTU Mechanical Engineering student Alexander Egemar Pedersen returned to PJM to take on a real engineering challenge as part of his Bachelor's Project.

Rather than accepting the obvious approach, he challenged the original assumptions, explored new knowledge and uncovered an entirely different path towards solving the case we introduced him to.

Projects like this are why we enjoy working with students at PJM. Fresh perspectives, curiosity, and the confidence to challenge established thinking often lead to new insights and better solutions.

AI has quickly become part of everyday work for many of us.

But moving from personal productivity tools to industrial implementation is a completely different challenge.

In industrial companies, the question is no longer what AI can do. The challenge is determining where AI creates value, and how it should be implemented.

At PJM, these considerations shaped our own approach to AI implementation.
We chose to focus on building internal competencies, creating super users, and ensuring that AI became a meaningful part of existing workflows.

Interestingly, while AI capabilities have evolved rapidly, successful implementation still depends on strategy, prioritisation, and people.

An acquisition is never the finish line.

In many ways, it is where the real work begins.

Last fall, PJM acquired key activities from ProInvent to strengthen our position within the medico and pharma industries and expand our presence in the Greater Copenhagen area.

Since then, the focus has been on turning an acquisition into an integrated part of the organisation, while maintaining momentum in projects, supporting customers, and bringing new colleagues into the organisation.

Nine months later, we are taking a moment to look back on the journey so far.

The best student projects don't start with all the answers.

DTU Master's student Emil Thorsbjerg approached PJM looking for an opportunity to dive deeper into autonomous systems and work on a real engineering challenge.
What he found was a strong technical environment, close collaboration with specialists, and the freedom to explore new ideas in practice.

"I didn't know from the beginning where it would end up, and that uncertainty was a big part of what made the project so rewarding."

At PJM, we believe the strongest student projects are those where not everything is defined from day one. The opportunity to explore, experiment and shape the outcome is often where the most valuable learning happens.

Congratulations to Lasse Bekker Andersen!

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating that our apprentice, Lasse Bekker Andersen, had completed his apprenticeship and is now a qualified Industrial Technician.

Throughout his training, Lasse has consistently demonstrated strong technical expertise and a remarkable commitment to delivering high-quality work. His attention to detail and dedication to his craft truly stand out.

We are delighted that Lasse will continue his journey with us as part of our Manufacturing Workshop team, where we are confident he will continue to create value and contribute with the same high standards.

Well done, Lasse – we’re happy to have you on the team, and we look forward to what’s ahead!

Congratulations to Frederik Winther!

Today marked a very special occasion at PJM.

Our apprentice, Frederik Winther, has completed his training as an Industrial Technician and, in a remarkable accomplishment, has also been named DI Vestsjælland's Apprentice of the Year.

We celebrated the occasion together with Frederik's family, who joined us to mark this important milestone, as well as representatives from Dansk Industri - DI Vestsjælland and the Mayor of Odsherred, who were present to recognise Frederik's outstanding achievement.

Frederik was nominated for this recognition because of his exceptional drive to learn, his high level of professional skill, and his commitment to supporting those around him. He generously shares his knowledge and plays an active role in training PJM's new apprentices.

Congratulations on your qualification and this well-deserved recognition, Frederik. We are proud of your achievement and look forward to following your continued development.

When people talk about acquisitions, the focus is often on strategy, growth, and business opportunities.

But what about the people behind it?

A company acquisition is also about new colleagues, new ways of working, new relationships, and finding your place in a new organisation, all while keeping projects moving and customers supported.
