AVA Genomics Consultancy (http://ava-genomics.com/) is looking for consultants or freelancers to do small projects or consultancy on an ad hoc basis. It includes genetic, genomic and breeding data analyses as well as basic bioinformatics analyses (QA/QC, downstream statistics, functional annotations) applied to genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, and other omics data and analyses. Work may need to be written up as a brief report. Species could be human, animal, crops, fish or other life science and biotechnology areas.
There may be also short assignments or tasks covering reviews of certain research ideas or proposals or research reports, publications (journal papers, conference proceedings, blogs, posts), literature search etc.
Payment for a freelance / consultancy work vary greatly according to type, duration and substance of work or projects, type and location of clients and their own budget limit. Anyone assigned a work must sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), non-compete, IPR and confidentiality arrangements.
Previous freelance or consultancy work experience in this field is a plus.
