Celebrating 25 Years of CALDAN Germany:
Last week, our good colleagues in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, came together for a special evening to mark an incredible milestone: the 25th anniversary of our German subsidiary.

The team and their partners gathered at a local restaurant where they enjoyed great food and laughter while sharing memories that reflect the strong spirit and dedication which have defined our journey over the past 25 years.

We’re proud of everything our German colleagues have achieved, and we’re deeply grateful for their hard work, teamwork and commitment over the years. Here's to the next 25 years of growth and success - together!

3 x Anniversaries at CALDAN!
Another week, another celebration 😀

Last week, we celebrated the anniversary of our German colleagues and office in Bad Hersfeld. This week, we're celebrating our fantastic UK team and the CALDAN Conveyor Ltd office in Redcar!

CALDAN Conveyor Ltd. is celebrating its 10th anniversary in business, and we are also marking the 10th anniversaries of Scott Parsons and Stuart Marlee. Furthermore, the team is moving into larger premises to support our continued growth and future expansion.

Having operated in the UK and Irish markets since 2002 as a subsidiary of our Danish parent company, CALDAN expanded its UK operations in 2015 to include sales, after-sales, project management and controls functions.

Over the past decade, the UK office has grown into a strong team of 16 dedicated employees who provide full project support for the CALDAN Group and after sales service to our customers worldwide.

Congratulations to Scott, Stuart and the entire UK team on these remarkable milestones, and thank you for your commitment, hard work and loyalty!

3 x Anniversaries at CALDAN!
We are truly grateful for our amazing colleagues, some of whom have been part of our journey for many years. But having three anniversaries in the same week is still something very special!

In Denmark, we celebrated Carsten Husted, who has contributed with his technical expertise in our design department for 10 years. A big thank you, Carsten, for your dedication and hard work!

In Germany, we celebrated two impressive 25-year anniversaries (see pictures from the celebration in Bad Hersfeld). Frank Berg has been with CALDAN for an impressive 25 years, making a lasting impact with his professional skills and personal commitment. As the leader and founder of CALDAN Germany, Frank's efforts also enabled us to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Bad Hersfeld office. What started as a two-man operation 25 years ago has grown into a thriving team of 25 colleagues, making it a true success story!

Congratulations, gentlemen – and thank you for your efforts and loyalty!

Celebrating 10 Years of Dedication and Team Spirit!
This week, we celebrated the impressive 10-year anniversaries of Peter Lorentsen, Morten Thomsen and Bo Winther Kjølhede with CALDAN.

They were celebrated with gifts and a cosy get-together with the CALDAN management team, including our CEO Claus Nørgaard (pictured here).

Reaching a ten-year milestone is not just a sign of individual commitment; it also reflects a strong team culture, shared values and a workplace where people choose to develop and remain.

In today's fast-paced world, colleagues who dedicate a decade of their talent and energy to one company are truly exceptional. Peter, Morten and Bo have each contributed in their own unique way, and we are proud to have them as part of the CALDAN family.

Last week we were thrilled to celebrate that CALDAN Group has officially acquired SEMA, a leading French engineering company renowned for its cutting-edge conveyor technologies.

This strategic acquisition strengthens our presence in Southern Europe and further consolidates CALDAN’s position as a global leader in conveyor solutions.

A warm welcome to the entire SEMA team! We are especially pleased that Paulo Afonso, SEMA’s founder, will continue to lead as Managing Director. His experience and local knowledge will be invaluable as Le Mans becomes our new hub for growth and innovation in the region.

CALDAN at the Surface & Coating Expo in Chennai, India:
What an incredible start to the first day of the fifth edition of the Surface & Coating Expo at the Chennai Trade Centre!

We’re proud to present a fresh new booth design and our most dynamic exhibition team in Chennai to date! Leading the team is our India Country Manager, Vilas Kakade, who is joined by his talented colleagues, Aman Singh Yadav and Gajanan Darade. Backing them up is our very own Danish envoy, Christian Calundan, who is proudly flying the Danish flag 😀

There's been high energy, a steady stream of visitors and fantastic team spirit – we couldn't ask for more!

CALDAN Germany summer event:
Last Friday, our colleagues at CALDAN Germany kicked off the summer holidays in Hessen with a team outing to an “Escape Forest” in Rotenburg.

Divided into three teams, they had 80 minutes to solve a mission: prevent the poisoning of the town’s water supply. With great collaboration (and a bit of suspense), they succeeded - just in time - at the 79-minute mark. A fitting reminder of how aligned teamwork and timing matter, both in the forest and in our daily work.

The day ended with a relaxed evening at Moseberg’s brewery - good company, shared stories, and a well-earned toast.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize the event, and to those who couldn’t join this time - you were missed, and we’re looking forward to the next opportunity to come together.

It's an exciting time for CALDAN Finance!
We are entering a new chapter, with several key changes to our finance team.

After an incredible 17 years with us, Charlotte Brandt will retire in September 2025. She has had a significant impact that extends well beyond the Finance department, and we are very grateful for her dedication. All the best for the future, Charlotte!

Gry Almstrup-Bjergmark, who graduated from the university this month, is moving from her role as a student assistant to a full-time position. She will be taking on global responsibility for payroll and HR master data. Congratulations and welcome onboard, Gry!

Anna Bergmann has been promoted to Accounting & Reporting Manager. After four years of strong contributions, she will now oversee our accounting functions across all entities.

We are also creating a new Business Controlling & Performance Management role to strengthen our finance business partnering and drive performance across CALDAN’s value chain. Recruitment is underway!

Talent Retention at CALDAN:
We’re excited to announce two well-deserved promotions within our team!

Effective April 1, 2025, Michael Christensen will step into the role of Head of Ex*****on, while Steven Harbin will take on the position of Head of Project Management. Steven transitions from his role as Controls Manager at CALDAN UK, and Michael moves from his position as Head of Project Management in Denmark. Congratulations to both on this next step in their careers!
