[UPDATE- WEDNESDAY 10TH JUNE, 2:30 P.M.]: Restoration has commenced in Roseau and will be done incrementally in surrounding areas.

Kindly note that after further investigations it was determined that the cause of the outage was not originated from the geothermal plant, but rather a fault on DOMLEC's Lower Goodwill Feeder. The Geothermal Plant, however, subsequently tripped resulting in a wider area outage.

We continue efforts to restore power to all affected customers and thank you for your patience and understanding.
******************************************************

DOMLEC is aware of the unplanned interruption to service which just occurred.

This is due to a trip at the geothermal plant.

We are currently investigating further and will provide an update as soon as we get more information.

We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

DOMLEC advises customers to the south of the island and parts of Goodwill that the interruption to their service was as a result of a trip at the geothermal plant.

We are in the process of restoring power to affected areas and expect to have all affected communities fully energised within one hour.

DOMLEC appreciates the patience and understanding of all customers as we work to restore power and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Please keep posted for further updates.
