📢 Continuing the awareness campaign on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), both physical and psychological, the Labour Inspectorate of Illizi Province, in coordination with the National Social Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) – Illizi Agency and the Occupational Medicine Department, conducted field inspection and awareness visits on 16 June 2026 to various companies in In Amenas.
These visits reaffirmed that occupational safety is a shared responsibility and included:
🔹 Promoting a culture of prevention and compliance with safety rules to protect human resources. 🔹 Conducting field surveys through questionnaires addressed to employees and employers to assess working conditions and identify potential risks.
🤝 Together for a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.

The National Civil Engineering and Construction Company (GCB) welcomed today, May 14, 2026, at its headquarters in Boumerdes Province, a delegation from the Republic of Niger, within the framework of the implementation of the strategic Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Algerian State and the Republic of Niger on March 24, 2026, aimed at strengthening prospects for bilateral cooperation in various vital sectors.
During this visit, the company’s officials delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting GCB’s historical milestones and the development of its activities, while emphasizing its strategic projects and its extensive and distinguished expertise in the ex*****on of major infrastructure projects, particularly in the hydrocarbons sector.
In this context, GCB reaffirmed its full commitment, in line with the strategic orientations of the Algerian State and its parent company Sonatrach, to supporting Nigerien partners and companies in the implementation of oil and gas infrastructure projects in the Republic of Niger, thereby contributing to advancing continental development and achieving the desired economic integration between the two countries.
