Sustainability shouldn’t come at the cost of style ✨

If you haven’t yet heard of the coolest cocktail bar in Paris, please meet , a unique brand part of the LVMH group. They use Wool Envelopes for packing their gift sets of bottled cocktails 🍸

For Marie Lipnitzky at CRAVAN, using a mix of cardboard and paper packaging felt like a missed opportunity - a lot of waste generated, but no added value to the customer experience. By switching to a bespoke Woola sleeve, CRAVAN found a solution that is a conversation starter.

Swipe to see how Wool Envelopes did all this 👉

“Wool Envelopes are more expensive than bubble wrap.” We hear this a lot, so let’s put that myth to rest 💤

They pack 21 seconds faster per parcel. For high-volume shippers, that’s €17,100/year in saved labour alone.

They’re 3× more protective than plastic bubble mailers. Fewer breakages, fewer returns, fewer unhappy customers (win-win-win).

And customers love the unboxing experience. Like, photograph-it-and-post-it-on-socials love 🫶

Bubble wrap is cheap. But when you actually do the maths, Wool Envelopes win on cost, protection, and branding. They’re our bestselling product for a reason ◡̈

February has quite literally disappeared into thin air, so we had to consult our collective camera roll for what happened this month:

- we found even more ways to by turning them into super cute toy animals 🥹
- celebrated Kert’s 5th Woolaversary with cake and a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the m̶e̶e̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶r̶o̶o̶m̶ supply closet we named after him
- were super inspired by Andres Käosaar, who told us about how became the first Estonians ever to participate in the World’s Toughest Row as part of our Woola Talks series
- *tried* recording a Jason Derulo cover for 200% totally work-related purposes
- in general, got a lot of work done under watchful eyes
- celebrated Shrove Tuesday with semla buns, but forgot to take photos. so instead, we’ll let you judge Andry’s lunch choices 👽

Anyway… Back to packaging (unless you think our musical career holds a lot of promise)

Bubble wrap had a good run, but now we’ve got something better ☁️

Bubble Wool is the world’s first bubble wrap alternative made entirely from waste wool, designed to protect high-end products sustainably.

uses it to ship her art, and says it best:
“Bubble Wool feels so luxurious that it encourages customers to return it. People do not think of it as trash after one use. This doesn’t happen with plastic.”

*The* first thing your customer sees and touches is the packaging. So make that first impression count ✨

We like to do things a little differently, and that includes our company events. For this year’s ✨ Woola Gaala ✨ we went back 2 school – actual lunch lady, canteen food, pop quizzes, and proper school disco included 👩‍🏫

Fighting plastic and Big Oil would be a lot more tough if we didn’t do it with optimism and a sense of humour. Here’s a recap of our January shenanigans so far (and the best is yet to come at tonight’s Woola Gaala…):

1. the team’s all here! yesterday, we kicked off our annual Strategy Gaala ✨
2. got back from the holidays in early January only to realise we’d been rebranded
3. we went folk dancing, but you might not be able to tell from the footage
4. half of our sales team tried cross-country skiing for the first time ⛷️
5. entering our office this month has not been for the faint of heart
6. as if the dolls that haven taken up residence in our call booth weren’t bad enough, Jevgeni decided to traumatise us further
7. we put up some motivational decorations at the factory, but gravity did its thing
8. the energy in the office when it’s only Jevgeni & Andry
9. the boys arrived to our Strategy Gaala dressed to the nines
10. if you don’t have any plans for this weekend, please allow Georgi to inspire you

Our 9-to-5 may be sustainable packaging, but we get up to much more outside of working hours. We recently kicked off a new team tradition: trying each other’s regular sports. This time, our designer extraordinaire Liisa took us all Estonian folk dancing.

Did you know that 11,613(!) dancers participated in last year’s Estonian Dance Festival, Laulu- ja tantsupidu?

Estonian folk dance also stands out among world traditions for the diversity of its basic steps. Without further ado: allow us to present the Woola Estonian Folk Dance Ensemble (taking bookings for 2026) 💃

We’re so back. And by that we mean we recently kicked off a new series of team events where we take turns trying each other’s regular sports. For the inaugural event, we summoned enthusiasts Anna-Liisa and Andry to coach us in the art of running 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Here’s what the coaches had to say: “It was a great workout that involved previous as well as future olympic champions. Team Woola always exceeds expectations. This was not your regular jog in the park — we’re talking actual reps, with increased pace until max effort. The crew showed great results.”

What does this have to do with packaging, you ask? Obviously, we’re busy channeling the same energy into our Q1 results as we speak 💪

Our 2025 shenanigans wrapped, not in order of unhinged-ness:
1. launching 100% Wool Envelopes ✨
2. parkour aka what happens when you leave a camcorder unsupervised at Woola HQ
3. how it feels to sell 2.3M products, replace 285,000 m² of bubble wrap, and save 130 tonnes of wool from being destroyed
4. debuting the first Maison Woola perfume
5. pranking our Chief of Staff, and somehow living to tell the tale
6. slaying the relay and bringing dabbing back
7.-8. fighting over who gets to eat Jevgeni’s eye
9. silent DJing: it’s like a silent disco, but more confusing
10. celebrating that one nice day of the year in Tallinn with a lunch picnic
11 are you happy to be in Paris?
12. ???
13. corporate pole dancing class

We’re [insert emotion here] to announce that we did not make it to the list of Estonia’s most attractive employers in 2025. This new investigative report uncovers the working conditions faced by our employees daily. But if the vibes ✨ in this video are your thing, then our jobs page is waiting for you.

TL;DR we’re hiring!!!!111!11
