Strict Quality Control for Reliable Ductile Iron Pipes

Ductile iron pipes are manufactured using high-speed rotating steel molds. Molten ductile iron is poured into the spinning mold, where centrifugal force ensures uniform distribution along the inner surface. After sufficient cooling, the pipe is extracted and transferred for further processing.

Quality Control Checks

The following inspections are applied during the production process:

Surface Defects Check: Visual inspection (100%)

Wall Thickness Check:100% using pistol caliper

3 pipes per shift using ultrasonic device

Weight Check: 100% using digital weighing scale

Ovality Check: 8 samples per shift using Go/No-Go gauge

Straightness Check: 100%

Length Check: 100%
