The first official appearance of CemCycle was through the Khalleha W Gaddedha program, under the umbrella of Nahdet El Mahrousa for Development, in collaboration with Arabian Cement Factory 🤝
This program marked a major milestone in our journey. It didn’t just provide mentorship and technical support, but also gave us the opportunity to turn an environmental challenge within the cement industry into a real, applicable solution. Through hands-on work, we focused on transforming cement waste into valuable, sustainable products that support the circular economy 🌱♻️
🔬 During the program, we successfully:
Launched our first product prototype
Tested our idea in a real industrial context
Validated the environmental and economic impact of our solution
Achieved 3rd place among strong and competitive teams 🥉
This experience reinforced our belief that true innovation happens when real problems are met with practical, sustainable solutions — and when collaboration between industry, civil society, and young innovators comes together to create impact.
