We’re hiring QHSE Specialist :
Key Responsibilities
1. Occupational Health & Safety
• Conduct regular risk assessments for high-hazard areas: furnaces, pouring stations, and finishing/grinding shops.
• Manage Heat Stress programs and ensure specialized PPE (aluminized suits, face shields) is maintained and used correctly.
• Lead accident investigations and "Near Miss" reporting cycles.
2. Environmental Management
• Monitor foundry emissions, dust collection systems (baghouses), and waste disposal protocols for hazardous slag or spent sand.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and ISO 14001 standards.
3. Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
• Maintain and update documentation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.

Job Requirements
- Education & Experience
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry, Physics, or Geology), Metallurgy, or Engineering.
•Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an industrial setting, ideally within a foundry, steel mill, or heavy manufacturing plant.
•Certifications: Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or OSHA 30-hour) is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills
•Foundry Knowledge: Basic understanding of melting points, alloy compositions, and sand casting processes.
•Auditing: Proven experience in performing internal audits against ISO standards.
•Risk Assessment: Proficiency in tools like JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).
•Analytical Chemistry: Ability to interpret lab results and spectrometer readings to ensure product quality.
- Soft Skills
•Assertiveness: The ability to stop unsafe work or reject sub-standard batches without hesitation.
•Communication: Able to translate complex safety protocols to floor workers and technical reports to management.
•Problem-Solving: A "find it and fix it" mindset regarding production bottlenecks or safety hazards.
