If you’ve been thinking about your career for a long time now and wondering why things havent gotten better, thinking is why.

The difference between people who dream about change and people who actually create it?

They stop waiting for clarity to appear and start building it.

Im hosting this 90-minute interactive workshop with my coach and friend where you won’t just talk and think about your career possibilities….

1. You’ll map them so you can see them clearly for their opportunities.
2. You’ll meet the version of yourself who’s already living your next chapter.
3. And you’ll walk away with a clear roadmap to make it real.

What We’ll Do Together:

- Surface all your career options (yes, even the “crazy” ones)

- Prioritize paths based on your strengths, values, and context

- Step into the shoes of the version of you who made the leap

- Understand what it actually takes to make your preferred path a reality

- Design the immediate next steps you can take starting tomorrow

Id love to see you in our workshop on September 25! If you have doubts, questions, concerns, let me know and Im happy to chat.

Ill leave the comments in the bio and/or you can leave a comment here and Ill send it over to you :)

How was your August?

Mine: Mostly rivers. Sometimes the ocean. Always there’s ice cream.

And in between a test of whether or not I am capable of holding the expansion Ive been asking for.

I passed with flying colors. But not without a s**t ton of journaling, tarot pulls, and self-hypnosis audios. Self-trust is a muscle. And oh man, I had to work out that muscle a lot in August.

In tech, we’re taught to plan for the worst-case scenario.
In life? We over-correct.
We don’t just plan for it, we live like it’s already happening.

Some of us do the opposite: over-optimizing for the best-case scenario.
And when it doesn’t go that way (because life), the disappointment eats us up making it hard to move forward.

But what we often don’t realize is that both outcomes are just two sides of the same coin.
Neither is guaranteed. Neither is fully in your control.

What matters more is who you are when the coin is in the air.

The version of you who makes bold decisions without clinging to the result
The one who’s grounded enough to keep going even when things go sideways
The one who leads themselves through uncertainty—without burnout or drama

That’s what we’re practicing this month inside:

🌿 Future Life Visioning (with ):
A restorative session to reconnect with your clarity, calm, and future self—without needing a vacation to feel like yourself again.

🔥 The Messy Middle (Aug 27):
A reflective reset for when your leadership (or your life) feels foggy. No slides, no frameworks—just a space to slow down and remember what matters.

Come to one. Come to both.

Or leave a comment COIN and I’ll send you both links :)

You don’t manifest your next leadership role just by wishing on a bay leaf.

(Though if you’ve got a manifestation playlist, let’s get those alpha waves on, honey! 🔥✨)

The real formula is Belief + Action = Momentum.

And not just any action.
I’m talking about belief-aligned moves: that build trust, visibility, and influence even before the title lands.

This post walks you through 5 of them.
And the one ingredient they all need to work? A mindset that’s already leading.

Your next role is just waiting for you to become the version of you who can actually hold it without burning out or betraying your values.

Most people think coaching is only for those having career meltdowns.

But some of the biggest results I’ve seen come from clients who looked fine on paper, but beneath the surface their confidence is already slipping as the pressure keeps increasing.

Growing in one’s career or into becoming an effective leader doesn’t start when the title has been given. It starts when you’ve expanded into becoming the version of yourself who can handle the conflict, the responsibility, the uncertainty that comes with the shiny new title.

And becoming that version who can expand along with the scope is the work we do in coaching. And to become that version doesn’t need more workshops, more frameworks, or *~vibes~*

It does need awareness though; and being open to change.

So if you’re in a place in your career where things are just feeling meh or harder than usual.
1:1 coaching might help.
I still have slots open in September.
Send me a DM or leave a comment and I’ll send you information so we can chat about how 1:1 support can look like for you. :)

What most people get wrong about career expansion, whether it’s getting promoted, pivoting roles, or starting something on the side, is thinking they need to feel ready before anything can begin.

But that’s not how it works.

You don’t wait to feel like the future version of yourself before you act.
You act in ways that help you become them.

Career expansion doesn’t ask you to know more.
It asks you to become first.

And every uncomfortable moment you’re in right now?
It’s an invitation to stretch into the kind of person who can hold the career you’ve been asking for.

And if you’re already in that role and feel like somebody must have made a mistake, and they’re going to find out soon enough that you’re not ready.

Here’s your reminder that:
You didn’t get the opportunity because you were ready.
You got it because you’ve been showing up, bit by bit, like someone who already belongs there.

Everyone wants career expansion. More opportunities. More impact. Sexier titles.
But few do the actual work that’s needed to hold the expansion they’re looking for.

Most do the obvious things. They sign up for another course. Do all the AI trainings and write about it in their shiny new Substack or Linkedin.
Or they Apply to every job listing they hope they can be a fit for.

But these dont work or even if they do, the expansion is momentary.

If you don’t start from within, all that effort will burn out fast (if they light up anything at all).

The real shift happens when you stop outsourcing your growth to hoping that your tactical actions will render results.

It happens when you start aligning your priorities and decisions with your own values AND your own definition of success.

That’s what the 5-Day Leadership Reset helps you practice:

Small shifts that build the kind of clarity, self-trust, and grounded presence that expansion actually requires.

Yes being good at your job will always be important. That’s just table stakes, especially if you’ve got a few years of experience under your belt (and it doesnt matter if it’s from a different function).

But let’s not forget about how important it is that you also become the version of you who can make everything happen — your goals, your impact, and your excellence.

If you’re a new or new-ish leader: overworked, under-appreciated, and trying to figure out how to make leadership work for you so your team isn’t the only one growing… this is for you.

I pulled together five of the most common challenges I’ve coached on.
Stress.
Visibility.
Communication.
Pressure to be the expert.
Self-leadership.

There are more. But these five are usually the entry points.

And I created this 5-day leadership reset. Daily practices to help you lead in a way that’s best for you, your organization, and your values.

You can sign up for free using the link in my bio.
Or you can send me a message or leave a comment here and I’ll send over details.

July! This month made me feel like it’s 2019 all over again. Like discovering for the first time the many things I can do and how fun they all are. ❤️

If there’s one thread that runs through every pivot I’ve made in the last 20 years, it’s this:

Growth isn’t always a ladder or a straight path.
Sometimes it looks like rebuilding after a layoff.
Sometimes it looks like leading before you feel ready.
Sometimes it looks like starting something on the side just to remember what it’s when you feel good about about you’re doing.

For me, the last 20 years of my career have been all kinds of expansion. Including those ones that started out with me feeling like a headless chicken.

What started out as a mess always ended up with me going: “Wooooo! What a ride! What’s next?!”

Work that didn’t just look good on paper — but felt good to wake up to... even on Mondays.

I wasnt always confident all the time.
And impostor syndrome was my morning coffee buddy.
But when the opportunity is exciting, interesting, feels like a fit for whatever life Im enabling — it’s easier to ignore the lack of confidence and just keep going.

Question for you, friends! What expansion are you working towards rigjt now? And tell me a little about what feels good about your career these days?

And if you’re new here, Say hi in the comments too! 👋
