What an honor it was, to dress up this old Beaty!
I think the old folks were geniuses. Cutting cedar shingles to make not only beautiful, but breathable and totally natural sidings that lasted for centuries.
I believe that what we surround ourselves with matters. I much prefere wood over plastic and toxic, unbreathable materials.
We can learn a lot from the dedication of the old masters to their art. Some things have gotten lost over time, but they can be remembered if we look close enought, and choose to see.
