We are pleased to share that the Beles Tech team recently held a productive consultation meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture and FAO on the strategic potential of cactus pear (Beles) in Ethiopia.

The discussion resulted in a shared commitment to work closely together and promote Beles as a strategic crop for sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and livelihood development.

As a next step, Beles Tech will convene a multi-stakeholder consultation workshop within the coming month to strengthen collaboration and advance the initiative further.

We sincerely appreciate the constructive engagement and partnership of the Ministry of Agriculture and FAO.
