Your beauty is seen far and wide, admired all around.
Your ancient city of Axum, a sight so grand and tall,
A treasury of history, a stone monument to all.
Your country is steeped in culture, turned over through the ages. From your native tongues Geez & Amharic, all the way through modern day sages.
Your daily tradition of coffee, made with fragrant Ethiopian beans. While offering land so green and lush with flora’s of a thousand greens.
A nation of people living, who’s culture can be traced so far back. A train of history and stories, told to all through a thousand sacks.
Oh Ethiopia, so vast and ancient, you hold a beauty like no other, Your festival of Timkat, and colorful dress of pride and honor.
