Here are some questions and answers about Flynano:

What is Flynano good for?
Depends on the model. Originally it was made just for fun, but evolution has given some more serious usages.

Who would appreciate Flynano’s light weight, simple structure and silence engine?
Especailly users who want to travel with plane, operate outside airports and enjoy the peace of nature.

How is Flynano transported and storage?
With box wing consruction Flynano can be disassembled in just few parts that can be packed in small space. This makes both transportation and storage fast and easy.

How long enrurance should be?
Depends on the usage and model of Flynano. If we have just fun, 15 minutes will give a great and most often quite sweaty flying experience. Batteries are loaded quickly, so with one or two extra units flying keeps on going almost continuously.

Single or twin?
Douple the seats, double the fun. True, but one seated Flynano will be more fun for the pilot as the plane is fast and manouverable.

Open or closed cocpit?
Feel the wind if you like it, get a windscreen if not. This is a choice of the pilot.

Is there a possibility for any cargo?
Once again depends of the model. A single-seater is made for local leisure flights, so no cargo is needed.

How about unmanned UAV-version?
Very nice plans for this are ready…

One of the most asked question is if Flynano could be a two-seater. And the next one is a question about getting it with wheels. Because of the 70 kg limit the answer for both questions has been no. So far.

Plans for land-based, two-seater Flynano are done. It will follow the same idea we have seen with smaller one. Simple compact construction with box-wing makes it small and lightweight giving double the fun for a pilot and a passenger.

Dear Flynano fans, friends and followers,

It’s been a while since we updated our status. This is because we have wanted to make the concept as ready as possible. For us, this has caused a lot of work with successful and non-successful times, findings and solutions.

What is Flynano now?

It is a beautiful, distinguishing-shaped aeroplane initially intended as a fun leisure toy.

During development also turned to a low part count and efficient flying machine layout. We have learned to lower the part count to about 60 composite parts, as comparable LSA aircraft have 250. So, less work is needed for manufacturing.

Flynano has smaller dimensions than equal payload conventional design. That in itself leads to an aerodynamically efficient design. Efficient layout with low relative structure weight. Low specific power for its useful load. These are very lovely characteristics for an electric aeroplane.

The layout has the potential for scaling up or down. Original Flynano was available for seaplane-only operations, but there are no technical obstacles for other landing surface options.

The layout is flexible for the powerline. Adaptation to other components is straightforward as it has no size or weight limits which are limits of the format.

Where are we going?

That is a question we need to get an answer as soon as possible. But, to say it shortly, we are looking for resources, including investors, innovators and partners for manufacturing.

During the last years, Flynano has collected several trophies from design and concept competitions and events. For example, big investment from the EU has been very close three times. Still, the courage to join our team has been missing.

Now we hope to find it when the world needs an environmentally friendly way to have fun while this offers a great opportunity to get a great profit at the same time.
