Vacancy – Assistant Electrical Estimator
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join A Team Electrical Engineers Limited, who are looking to expand on their established team and are recruiting for an Electrical Estimator Working on Commercial Projects.
As an Assistant Electrical Estimator you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
•Ensure that the build up to the Tender submission and all supporting documents are maintained in a logical and sequential manner.
•Responsible for researching and preparing logical and cost effective bids / tenders.
•Produce competitive, commercially viable tenders for new and existing clients.
•Carry out take off's from working drawings.
•Able to negotiate the optimum Tender price from suppliers, wholesalers and subcontractors.
•Demonstrate an innovative approach to arriving at prime cost.
•Participate in handover of successful bids to delivery team.
•Ensure delivery team understands the technical, financial and key programme issues and the key business drivers and expectations of the client.
•Able to determine the necessity of site visits to understand build ability and risk.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
•Previous experience of a similar role within a contracting environment
•Electrically qualified
•Capacity to successfully manage and priorities a high volume of tasks that require completion within tight timeframes or reprioritizing to achieve necessary outcomes.
•Valid Driver’s Licence
