Roofer wanted - D&G Building Services

We are a prestigious renovation company in the Nouvelle Aquitaine looking for a roofer / carpenter to join our talented team on a permanent / full time contract (CDI).

Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience and be qualified to CAP / BEP level or equivalent and be able to work at a high standard.

Driving license is essential (Category B).

Dakinspectie en Onderhoudsservice
We werden gebeld om een hele aardige klant te helpen met hardnekkige lekkages aan hun leien dak. We willen altijd goed nieuws brengen, maar soms heeft het dak andere plannen!

Bij inspectie ontdekten we de klassieke tekenen van nagelcorrosie – waarbij de originele spijkers die de leien op hun plaats houden, na verloop van tijd zijn gaan roesten. Dit betekent dat de leien niet langer stevig vastzitten, waardoor het dak kwetsbaar wordt, vooral bij harde wind.

In deze korte video kunt u zien hoe gemakkelijk deze leien los kunnen komen wanneer de spijkers het begeven hebben. Het is een duidelijke herinnering waarom regelmatige controles van de dakconditie zo belangrijk zijn!

Het is nooit gemakkelijk om zulk nieuws te brengen, vooral niet aan zo'n fijne klant, maar het is cruciaal om problemen zoals nagelcorrosie aan te pakken om verdere schade te voorkomen en de levensduur van uw dak te waarborgen.

Site Manager / Project Manager (M/F) wanted

We are a prestigious renovation company serving the Charente, Dordogne and Charente-Maritime, looking for a part time Site Manager / Project Manager to manage our various projects for 2 days per week (initially) under a CDD or as a sub-contractor.

Location: Between 2-3 locations.

Role tasks are:
• Deliver the best customer experience.
• Help set up systems to manage projects.
• Manage all project resources. Labour, materials and budget.
• Reporting back to business owner, progress of projects.
• Number of staff: 6 in production.

Skills / Requirements:
• Experienced Site Manager or Project Manager.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be a problem solver.
• Good people manager.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Driving license (Category B or equivalent).
• Own transport.

Advantageous skills (but not essential):
• Estimating.
• Sales.
• Marketing.
• Experience of the French building sector.
• RGE.
