After four intensive days in Shanghai, the feedback from our international SCANTECH team was very positive.
CHINAPLAS 2026 was active, well attended, and highly relevant for understanding the current direction of extrusion, film, sheet, packaging, and converting applications.

In such a dense exhibition environment, it is essential to present a clear message. It is also important to show a strong technical identity.
Our booth was designed to show SCANTECH technologies in a clear and application-oriented way. Many discussions focused on online thickness measurement, process control, blown film gauging, multilayer analysis, and integrated inspection concepts.
The show also reflected the challenges many manufacturers are facing today.
Material costs remain under pressure, and volatility continues to create complexity for processing companies. In this context, accurate online measurement plays an essential role. It gives operators better visibility, supports faster process decisions, and helps maintain stable, consistent production.
