- Bolts to your YAKKT rack and the lower pinch weld of the van

- The mounting bracket at the bottom hugs the bottom of van perfectly, extending no lower than the pinch weld.

We are getting very close to releasing the first parametric campervan configurator.

This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, make professional grade vans accessible to anyone.

Here’s a teaser video, along with some features:

- fully parametric, change a cabinet, everything changes with it. drawers, cabinet fronts, sides, everything

- fitted using real world scribes individual to every specific vehicle

- realtime .dxf export with realtime nesting and part optimisation. flat pack your entire design and export in seconds

- don’t have access to a CNC? export a cutlist for your track saw

- preset colour layouts with infinite options

- add appliances, cookers, ovens etc & the furniture automatically adapts

stage 2 release is where it gets really interesting but will keep that 🤫

Yesterday we released .io and we hit our user limit in 24 hours.

Vankit is a series of apps to help the self build and professional converter design their van easier.

The first we released was our roof rack configurator, no more getting on a ladder, in the rain, with a tape measure trying to guess what fits where.

It only works with YAKKT racks, but you can also design with no rack too.

I’m re building the site for a higher user limit so stay tuned for V2. I’ll put an email capture in my stories later for the waitlist.
