The essential know-how is that garden rooms are standalone, insulated structures in a homeowner’s garden.

Unlike sheds or outbuildings, which are usually wood-panelled and prone to damage in extreme weather, garden rooms are designed for living. They’re well-insulated, have an electrical supply and plumbing. All necessary features required to comply with building regulations.

This is something a little different on the drawing board. This is a vaulted office space with rubber cladding and a bespoke veneered plywood interior. The project features a small kitchette and a wc complete with an incinterating toilet to simplify the drainage requirements.

This garden office will nestle under the canopy of a number of mature trees and will be surrounded by a wildflower meadow.

What a peaceful place to work and relax!

This project will kick start in early 2023.
