Senior Project Administrator

Your new role
This is an exciting time to join a fast moving and expanding multi utility construction company. PWG Connections undertakes live gas, water and electric connections throughout the UK providing an end-to-end service to our clients from network design to meter installation. We now have a new position for a Senior Project Administrator reporting to the Commercial Director providing hands on support to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

Main Responsibilities
• Co-ordination of project works planning – day/week ahead and forward forecast
• Responsible for allocation of quotation enquiries / new business enquiries
• Management of operative training required for project works
• Co-ordination of equipment calibration / equipment repair / equipment purchases
• Equipment on/off hire for project works
• Record keeping and compliance for vehicle fleet management / insurance
• Renewals/management of business accreditations and support ISO 9001 audits
• Approval of sub-contractors and completion of client pre-qualifications
• Lead administrator for project Operations Management System (training to be provided)
• Other ad hoc work as required in support of PWG activities

What you'll need to succeed
To be dynamic and energetic with the ability to quickly learn about multi utility construction. Must be able to get to our offices in Ashington – must be able to drive.

Experience:
• Minimum of 3 GCSE’s 4-9/A*-C including Maths & English or equivalent.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programmes
• Exceptional organisational/project administration skills
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and self-manage time
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Multi Utilities Project Engineer/Manager
PWG Connections are an expanding multi utility construction company based in the North East of England, working on projects throughout the UK. An excellent permanent opportunity for a Multi Utilities Project Engineer/Manager has arisen to initiate and manage through to conclusion a wide variety of Gas, Water and Electrical Network Installation Projects.

This role is predominantly based out of our Head Office in Ashington, with a requirement for on-site project management activities to ensure successful implementation through to conclusion. The projects include a combination of new connections on residential sites and Industrial and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities
You will be required to take projects from inception, through to completion and close out, ensuring the work is carried out safely.
Liaising with clients and subcontracts to agree delivery dates with the Developers and ensure ready for installation.
Select and source construction materials and equipment for projects.
Prepare safe system of works documentation and client and networks authorisation to proceed.

Personal specification
At least 3 years’ experience on new connection projects
Experienced in managing multiple projects in tandem
Experience of working with a GIRS, WIRS, NERS or MURS accredited Utilities Infrastructure Provider
Excellent project management and leadership skills
To be a dynamic and energetic individual with the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications
SMSTS or SSSTS trained would be advantageous
Strong knowledge in multi-utilities
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programmes
Able to produce working drawings using CAD software
Exceptional organisational skills
Able to prioritise tasks and self-manage time
Good written and verbal communication skills

Pwg Connections based in north east of england ( ashington) are Looking for a full time pipe welder. No codings necessary but would be a advantage, but must be confident and competent to weld carbon steel pipe.
Weld test will be held for applicants. ( mig route tig or stick hot pass and cap ) van and equipment provided. 1 in 20 welds will be tested.

Any electric lads on here looking for an office job in northumberland. Can be full time or part totally flexible.
It’s for new house development projects. Main tasks would be help with take off for projects, project planning and site meetings and just a good general knowledge of LV and HV.
