"I'd love air conditioning, but what does it actually cost?" 💬

For the unit, full installation and electrical supply, a single room install starts from £1,700.

That covers everything and there are no separate trades to organise - we sort it all.

What affects the price from there is fairly straightforward. Room size, how far the pipework needs to run, and how complex the install is all play a part.

The unit itself makes a difference too - there are options at different price points and we'll always recommend what suits the room.

If you're thinking about more than one room, a multi-room system shares an outdoor unit, which keeps the overall cost down compared to fitting everything separately.

A clean installation to us means no visible pipework - even if that takes a bit more work to get there 👌

We recently took walls and ceilings out on a three-unit job in Stratford to run the pipework properly out of sight.

The plasterer was in and the decorators were finishing off as we shot this video 📸

When they’re done, you wouldn’t know we’d been in at all.

A lot of properties have no loft access, which makes concealing pipework harder. Some installers will run internal trunking and leave it at that, but we don’t.

If you’ve been putting off air conditioning because you weren’t sure what it would mean for your home, that’s exactly the conversation we’re happy to have before anything is agreed.

Hayfever season is here 🤧 Closing the windows helps, but only so far.

Most people picture air conditioning as a unit mounted high on the wall - but it's not your only option 👇

Floor-mounted units sit at skirting board level, so they don't need a clear stretch of wall above head height.

That makes them a practical choice for rooms where a wall-mounted unit simply wouldn't work - like loft conversions with sloped ceilings, conservatories, dormers, or walls with limited space.

They work the same way as any other system: cooling in summer, heating in winter, but always running efficiently on an A++ or A+++ rated unit ☀️❄️

Flat-faced breeds like pugs and bulldogs struggle to pant efficiently in the heat. Older dogs and heavier-coated breeds like German Shepherds feel it even more.

As the warmer months come around again, it's worth thinking about how comfortable your home actually is for your dog.
