Last Friday marked a pivotal moment in Westcott's evolution as we officially opened the Skylark Conference Centre, welcoming leaders from across the space industry to experience our new community hub.

This world-class facility provides the critical amenities that our growing cluster needs, creating that vital 'sense of place' where spontaneous encounters can spark the innovations that will propel the UK space sector forward.

We're immensely grateful to Buckinghamshire Council for organising such a successful launch event and to our partners URA Thrusters, Skyports Drone Services, Westcott Shared Facilities and the UK Space Agency, whose Space Clusters Infrastructure Fund (SCIF) funding support helped deliver this excellent public-private collaboration.

The strength of the Westcott Space Cluster community was evident throughout the day, from the inspiring panel discussion featuring Protolaunch, Nammo, Skyports, Satellite Applications Catapult and the University of Sheffield, to the networking that continued long after the plaque unveiling.

We were thrilled to see the opening featured on ITV News, showcasing Westcott as the home of in-orbit propulsion in the UK.

Westcott Shared Facilities (WSF) is now fully operational at Building 9003 adjacent to the Skylark facility at Westcott.

This milestone signifies a major advancement in the UK's space industry infrastructure within the UK Space Agency SCIF supported buildings.

WSF is offering the space sector on-demand access to cutting-edge technical equipment, including the UK's largest commercially available electric propulsion test capability which is amongst the most advanced in Europe.

Combined with existing capabilities at Westcott, this positions the site as one of the most significant propulsion campuses globally.

Sustainable propulsion pioneer URA Thrusters expands into new flagship facility at Westcott

We're pleased to announce that Flare Bright, a leading innovator in GPS-free navigation technology for uncrewed aircraft, is expanding into Century Court at Westcott.

The drone technology specialist will use the additional space to scale up production as it transitions from pure R&D into commercial product delivery, housing expanded workshop facilities and production space alongside its existing research and design hub at Westcott.

Construction is underway on Orbis9000, our latest speculative development at Westcott's Space Cluster.

Six state-of-the-art industrial units (2,734–17,987 sq ft) arranged in two terraces are available to pre-let, with completion set for Q1 2026.

Located alongside the landmark Skylark building with its 90-seater restaurant, conference centre and office amenities, this development marks the final phase of our £16m flagship project spanning 65,455 sq ft with Phases 1 and 2 already successfully delivered.

Thames Valley Police have successfully completed traffic incident management training at Westcott, using our drone runway to help officers practise safely deploying traffic control equipment during roadway emergencies.

The specialist sessions teach vital skills for establishing safe zones around accidents whilst protecting officers, emergency responders and the public.

Today we announce the completion of a flagship development at Westcott, a landmark achievement in the park’s strategic transformation.

The facilities have enabled two of our most innovative occupiers URA Thrusters, specialists in water-based rocket propulsion technology, and pioneering Skyports Drone Services - to scale up their operations.

We're thrilled they're expanding onsite, which is testament to the Space Cluster community we've created on the park.

Adding to the Space Cluster family we welcome Westcott Shared Facilities which will provide technical facilities including the UK's largest commercially available electric propulsion test facility.

Central to the development is the Skylark, our new amenity facility that will serve as the beating heart of our dynamic business community. This includes a 90-seater café operation and conference centre, plus Grade A office space which is available to let.

Construction of Phase 3 at Plot 9000, known as Orbis9000, is underway with pre-let opportunities available for warehouse space.

This transformative project has been backed by UK Space Agency funding.

We can confirm that a fire occurred at the Bucks Recycling facility at Westcott Venture Park on Sunday 10th August.

Thanks to the swift response of the emergency services, the fire has been contained and we are pleased to report that there were no injuries.

We continue to work closely with the fire service and relevant authorities as investigations proceed.

We would like to thank the emergency services for their prompt and professional response, and we are grateful for the patience and understanding of our business community and neighbours during this time.

Normal operations across the park continue, and we will provide further updates as appropriate.
