My little master blacksmith, Arthur. ❤️
At just 5 years old, he had his very first lesson in the forge and hopefully it won't be his last!
His idea was to make a towing hook for his toy tractors. From his own design to the finished piece, this was Arthur's work from start to finish.
Passing on traditional blacksmithing skills to the next generation, using the same processes and tools that have been around for hundreds of years.
We had lots of fun, and I couldn't be prouder of my little blacksmith. 🥰⚒️

The forge has been absolutely cooking, but every drop of sweat has been worth it. Nothing beats seeing handforged items head out into the world to last generations, not to mention the memories!

I recent Lady who inspired us at Peak Blacksmithing-
At 86 years young, Pat arrived ready to learn, create, and enjoy something completely new. Over the past year, Pat has faced the challenge of chronic kidney disease and was expected to need dialysis imminently. She wasn’t sure if she would ever get the chance to come along to one of our silversmithing experience days — but after receiving preventative medication, her kidney function improved enough for her to come off the dialysis watch list for now and make her way to the forge.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that life is about so much more than the obstacles we face. Age, illness, and challenges do not have to define what we can achieve. It’s our mindset, determination, and willingness to keep experiencing life that matters.
Pat showed us that there is always something new to learn and enjoy — no matter what chapter of life we are in. 🥰
