The big barn build. Completed in 2022. I'm struggling to find all the pictures on this one so it's likely there will be more to follow, these 7 certainly don't do it justice. This was a challenge to say the least. The steel frame was fabricated in moray and hauled over. Roof timbers were specially imported Nordic spruce. Insulated roof panels were moved using three different lorries to eventually get them to the farm. The concrete arrived in three trucks shortly after lockdown ended and was poured by myself and three others, that was a long day I can tell you. Most of the roof work was completed using a telehandler and manbasket. Then a precarious scaffold to fix the 300 SQM of Siberian larch cladding, just got in there before the war! I made the windows myself on site. Installing the insulated roller door was a first for me as well.

Wee set of very steep but rather pretty stairs. Meranti treads, Douglas fir risers and Douglas fir wrapped stringers.

Engineered hardwood floor in Avoch, completed in the autumn of this year. Another satisfying job, reminds me I must get a better camera!

I also do tiling when the need arises! This was a bathroom I did in the late summer. Self leveling compound, decoupling matting (not photographed) then really nice terracotta tiles with an ivory grout. Satisfying work!
