A project from the archives that never got posted!

This customer wanted to make better use of the space by relocating the boiler to the airing cupboard, freeing up valuable room within the utility area. This allowed us to create much-needed additional storage while giving the space a much cleaner and more practical layout.

To achieve a seamless look, we installed an integrated washing machine and designed the utility room to perfectly complement the existing kitchen. The adjoining downstairs WC was also upgraded, creating a cohesive finish throughout.

The result is a functional space with plenty of storage and a much tidier appearance – proving that even the hardest-working rooms in the house can look great too.

A good start on a new extension project this week, with the foundations in, blockwork started, and the build beginning to take shape already.

It’s always rewarding to see progress from day one, and we’re looking forward to sharing the transformation as the project develops over the coming weeks.

With a productive week behind us and the blockwork underway, the team can now enjoy a well-earned sunny Bank Holiday weekend before we’re back on site next week and ready to push on. ☀️

A recent part garage conversion completed!

We converted part of this garage into a new utility and downstairs toilet, turning unused space into something practical. This is a great way to create extra space, without the need for an extension - whilst still keeping some of the garage area for storage!

We have been a bit quiet on here lately, but we’re still proud to be supporting one of our local rugby teams.

We sponsor Ethan as a player, as well as South Molton Rugby 2nd team.

Ethan has been part of the team here at LS Building for nearly 6 years since leaving school and has completed his carpentry apprenticeship along the way. Ethan has been a solid team member and it’s great to see him putting the same effort in whilst on the pitch too 💪🏉

A job we carried out earlier this year. Opening was widened and steels installed to allow for bifold doors to be fitted. It made a huge difference to the room allowing so much light to flood in.

What a kitchen & entertaining space!!
We added a single story extension onto this property making use of a shady area down the side of the house.
Retaining wall due to the property next door being higher. Plenty of steel and concrete involved for that!
We knocked out the side of the existing property opening up into the extension to create a great space. A couple flat roof lights really help to get the natural light in.
Natural stone flooring laid through the kitchen/diner, into the entrance lobby, then into the utility and toilet.
Kitchen with extra deep worktops and custom made shelving, all set off with some fantastic lighting.
Alterations and partial rebuilt of front porch.

Timber clad garage and carport we built last year.
This one started off as an overgrown and sloping piece of land. We started off by clearing out the site and installing Gabion baskets to enable us to level up the site.
Reinforced concrete pad with concrete block work walls to create the shell.
Cladco roofing sheets with a couple translucent panels for light.
The outside was clad with Thermo wood, bi-fold doors were constructed onsite and clad to continue to lines of the rest of the building.
Finished off with some Cotswold chippings.
