And that's a wrap! 7 days worth of instruction, 293 training packages and more than 267 cadets in through our door. This year's has continued the good work of the RAFAC's flagship camp to a high standard and we hope every cadet has found something of use here. A huge thank you to the members of 633, 611, 632 and 614 Squadrons and Schools who we couldn't have done this without. Here's to next year!

Did you know?

RAF Syerston was initially opened as a Bomber Command station in 1940 operating Wellington, Manchester and Lancaster bombers. Allocated to No. 1 Group, the station was first occupied in December 1940 by Nos. 304 and 305 Squadrons, manned largely by Polish pilots and aircrew.

Flash forward to 2019 the station is very different, but it's history is subtlety still here and it maintains its RAF flying roots. At least the Vikings are a little quieter than a Lancaster.
