Matt from our Projects department had a great time working with a team of volunteers led by the River Waveney Trust earlier this week to clear bulrush from the River Waveney at Homersfield Bridge.

The team's efforts will enable native plant species to thrive, supporting the river's biodiversity and preserving the area for future generations. 🌱

Yesterday, we welcomed Computing and Business students from Sir John Leman High School to our Beccles site. 💻

The students heard directly from our Sales, HR, Quality, Marketing, IT, Engineering, and Accounts teams, gaining a real sense of how each department contributes to our day-to-day operations. Their site tour also highlighted the important role that computing and business skills play in delivering projects and supporting our customers.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and we understand that looking after your mental health is important. We've been raising awareness this week for the Mental Health Foundation, and have taken action through various acts of care, like our coffee and cake morning, which included bringing everyone together for conversations over cake. 💚

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome a STEM group from Beccles High School to our Beccles site, giving students an insight into who we are and what a career in STEM could look like.

The students enjoyed a site tour, seeing live project systems in action, a robot arm demonstration led by one of our Apprentices and an exciting proof of concept presentation from our Commissioning Engineers. They also had the chance to watch one of our CNC machines at work and learn more about our business, the types of projects we deliver and the wide range of STEM career opportunities available to them. 🛠️
