🎄 Winter Wonderland is officially OPEN and once again NMT Crane Hire played our part in getting the magic underway! 🎡✨

When the call came in to help get the show on the road, we were ready.

Winter Wonderland at has become a firm favourite in the calendar every , and we’re proud to keep the tradition alive.

This year we sent the big guns, our mighty 300-tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2, along with the full crew, to handle the heavy (and very festive) lifts that make the UK’s biggest Christmas event possible.

Because without the lifting… there’s no Wonderland! ❄️

We completed a precision tower crane dismantle up this week by the team.

🏗️ Using our 300T L1300-6.2 configured with a 38.5m , we safely removed the tower crane in a tightly controlled environment, overcoming restricted access, height challenges and typical northern winter weather.

🟡 Meticulous lift planning, detailed rigging preparation and clear communication were key to keeping the operation smooth and fully compliant from start to finish.

It was another standout day for the team as our Spierings Mobile Cranes mobile tower crane took centre stage just off Regent Street, supporting the installation of new AC units on a prestigious Mayfair hotel refurbishment.

Working in central London brings its own set of challenges - narrow streets, heavy pedestrian flow, restricted access and zero room for error.

These environments demand the right combination of engineering capability and operator expertise, which is exactly where excels.

Weekend Mission- Critical Lift in ! 🏗️💻

🟡 Another successful weekend for the team, this time executing a precision lift to support essential data centre infrastructure in Slough. Delivering the mechanical movements on this job was important. Our 300 tonner doing the business.

🧊 The team managed the safe installation of 2x Air Cooling/Conditioning Units for data servers. This was a technically demanding 16-point lift, requiring absolute precision to handle the sensitive equipment.

The reliability of a data centre hinges on its cooling, and we’re proud to have delivered a flawless operation to get this critical equipment into place.

Nmt crane hire at a London

⏰ 3am starts and tight deadlines – just another day for NMT Crane Hire

Recently we pulled off a challenging lift at a central London Hospital, removing a temporary MRI scanner with some serious time pressure.

The situation: The Unite the Kingdom 🇬🇧 march meant we had to complete the entire operation before the crowds arrived in central London.

How we did it:

🕒 03:00 - Our with supervisor arrived to lay steel road plates (protecting the block paving)

🕓 04:00-04:30 - Main crane on site (our 300TLiebherr Mobile and Crawler Craness on full ballast) and starting the rig

🕡 06:30 - Fully rigged and ready to lift

🕣 08:30 - MRI scanner lifted, derig underway

🕙 10:00 - Crane off site

🕦 11:30 - Steel plates removed and we're out – right through the gathering crowds!

Seven and a half hours from start to finish. One complex healthcare lift completed. Job done. ✅
