Remember that “secret” project in Germany we couldn’t tell you about last year?

Yeah… we went back.

This time we upgraded the site with a new BFT barrier, and installed two traffic light systems to improve vehicle flow and on-site safety.

Same location.

Same discretion.

Higher performance.

Repeat work like this tells us we’re doing something right.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work rebuilding the TopGate Automation website from the ground up.

After months of planning, refining, and future-proofing, we’re putting the final touches on a platform that better reflects our expansion, our direction, and where we’re taking the business next.

This isn’t just a refresh, it’s a complete overhaul designed to make things clearer, faster, and more useful for both new and existing customers.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿. 🎄

We wrapped up 2025 by taking the team, and the honorary “junior crew”, out for a meal to celebrate everything Top Gate has achieved this year.

(And before anyone asks… the kids more than earned their seats. After multiple van-washing shifts and providing elite-level “quality control advice”, they’ve been promoted to Chief morale officers. Don’t worry, no unpaid labour, just bribery with desserts.)

This year has tested us, pushed us, and grown us in ways we didn’t expect.

We’ve taken on tough projects, solved challenges that others walked away from, and had the privilege of working with incredible customers, partners and suppliers who trust what we do.

Top Gate Automation is growing fast, and we’re only just getting started.

2026 is already shaping up to be bigger: more projects, more capability, more innovation, and more ways we’ll be raising the bar for our industry.

𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽

We’ve just completed a full turnkey bi-fold gate installation for a valued client, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

From the very first scoop of mud to the final commissioning, everything came together as intended.

There’s always that satisfying moment when you press the button and the gate works perfectly and exactly as it should.

This design was completely bespoke, and all credit goes to Ultimation Direct Ltd

The build quality, accuracy, and finish made our job on site much easier, and the important part is that... the client is thrilled with the final result!

And then there was the weather...

The classic British rain decided to make an appearance, but right on cue, a surprise pack of sweets arrived from Ultimation. 🍬

A small gesture, but a big morale boost!

Take it from us, nothing quite lifts spirits like sugar during sideways rain!

Another project complete, another gate running smoothly, and another happy client.

Quick trip to Germany last week, and before you ask, no, we didn't make it to any beer halls.

We were too busy installing a trip barrier at a high-security site that we're absolutely not allowed to tell you about... 👀

We're pretty sure even Google Maps doesn't know this place exists!
Sometimes our projects come with a side of secrecy.

Still made for a great "wish you were here" moment — even if we can't tell you where "here" actually was.

That’s why we recently installed a premium swing gate system for a valued customer supporting this local school.

This installation gives the school controlled, convenient access: no more getting out in the rain, no more juggling keys whilst cars queue, no more compromised access control.
